A long, super detailed and brutally HONEST review- from a quality snob.
Here’s the honest truth-I didn’t want to order this. My daughter saw it, fell in love immediately and literally begged me to get it for her. I caved in and ordered it. After it arrived, I ended up ordering one for myself (in black). Now she won’t let me live it down that she was right.I am a total bikini snob and have amassed a collection over the years that I’m quite proud of. In the last several years, I have really prioritized quality suits over the ones that look super cute for a wear or two. I’m a total quality snob/psycho to begin with (with incredibly high standards and expectations), but since bikinis/bathing suits are my thing, I’m usually extra critical. There are so many things I look at/for, things that others typically don’t notice. I wanted to devour this suit in this review, but that’s literally impossible.⭐️ARRIVAL⭐️All 3 of these (we had to exchange a size) arrived incredibly quick- carefully folded and sealed in a thick plastic bag. The sanitary liner was in place and the suit has a branded hang tag attached. Both the top and bottom have the clear Material & Care tags (way better than cheap paper tags). They are designed to be ‘invisible’, but they are easy to cut out (without the ends stabbing into your skin) if you choose to remove them.There were no unusual or unfortunate odors and there wasn’t a single noticeable flaw upon arrival.⭐️MATERIAL⭐️The reason I caved and bought this in the first place is because I love a good nylon/spandex blend for a bathing suit (I absolutely loathe polyester suits! This is 82% Nylon, 18% Spandex and it is gorgeous- this is high quality material that a good suit should be made with! It’s thick (not cheap/thin), but not bulky. The material is unbelievably soft and smooth, it has the perfect amount of stretch, but still holds you in too. (This is beyond comfortable and not at all restrictive). The material is breathable and quick drying and just feels (and looks) amazing on the body.A huge sign of stellar material- my daughter always sits directly on the concrete around the pool, which pills other bottoms like crazy. Not these though!It keeps getting better too…The entire suit (sans the mesh ties obviously) is fully lined and even the liner is fantastic! It’s not that cheap poly mesh liner, rather it’s just as soft, smooth and silky feeling as the outer material.Neither layer is flimsy, but despite these layers having some nice weight to them (‘quality’ weight), this isn’t one if the suits that gets super heavy when it’s wet. It’s all about the quick drying here!Even the mesh ties that are attached to the bottoms and tie behind the neck feel awesome! Again, this isn’t that thin, cheap or scratchy mesh. It has a nice weight and beautiful drape. It’s also easy to work with and stays tied!⭐️QUALITY & CONSTRUCTION⭐️This is the section where I can be extremely critical, as I literally inspect every stitch of the suit. I have nothing but praise here though!The stitching, surges, hems and material cuts are all strong/sturdy, clean even and well done. You won’t find a single rogue thread, poorly clipped thread end or raggedy material cut. Every single bit of elastic is hidden/concealed in the surges. I checked every single mm of stitching on all 3 of these and I didn’t see any missed, loose, doubled/tripled over stitches or messy globs of thread. The surges aren’t super thick and they don’t stick out, so they don’t dig into your body and leave lines on your skin. The straps on the top are secured between the outer layer and liner, so there are no bulges (visible or jamming into you).The removable cups are on the thinner side, but they aren’t the flimsy ones and they are properly sized for the top. The opening for the cups is on the bottom band of the top, not the sides (which I love because it’s way easier to adjust!) and those openings are reinforced with stitching.Finally, the hardware (clasp, slide adjusters and rings on the straps) are metal and very durable. The straps stay in place and the top never pops open at the clasp.⭐️COLOR & FADING⭐️I’ll also note that neither the neon pink color (it looks so stunning- especially with a tan!) nor the black faded at all. I usually don’t repeat bathing suits when I’m on vacation, but I wore this numerous times on our 10 day PR vacation. My daughter basically lived in hers. Despite being in Salt water for several hours a day, neither color bled or faded. They did get rinsed with cold water every night and I did wash them (in a garment bag, delicate cycle, cold water, hang dry) when we got home, but they still look new!⭐️SIZE & FIT⭐️My daughter is 5’8”, 147lbs and 36B. She has a long, lean and athletic figure that looks good in anything and an (enviable) bubble butt. I wasn’t sure when I originally ordered this if the pieces were connected or not so to play it safe I sized up and ordered her a large.Both my daughter and I have very long torsos, so we have to size up in one pieces and bathing suits just to get the extra length. The large was too big all around for her and since this is actually 2 separate pieces, I exchanged the large for a medium, which fits her perfect!I am 5’7”, 130lbs and 34B. I’m not well endowed up top or behind. I ordered a small and it’s perfect.The top is great for both larger and smaller chests. The cups are accommodating (not small) and they have a nice round shape that they lend to the bust. I really appreciate the twist of material in front as it enhances what little I do have. It has some nice support as well (the straps aren’t bouncy).The ruched bottoms are definitely high waisted, but they are so comfy and hide everything- Even when you are sitting down! These are full coverage in the back (so they cover my daughters bubble butt well) and they aren’t high cut on the leg either.The mesh ties are nice and long, so even for us long torsoed folks, your normal size will end up fitting perfect. I actually think this is a perfect suit for anyone with a long torso that’s looking for the coverage of a 1 piece but doesn’t want to deal with long sizes, sizing up or the pull.There is no doubt about it- this suit is insanely flattering! It holds and hides any problem areas and enhances everything else.If I had to change one thing (speaking personally), I would love a higher cut leg and cheeky bottom. While that would be the most perfect suit ever for us, I still have not a single complaint as is.⭐️VERSATILITY⭐️We have been experimenting with different ways to wear/tie the mesh straps and there are quite a few things you can do here! You can basically change the whole style up daily.You can also wear this as a bodysuit (I have!) and it looks phenomenal! No one can tell it’s a bathing suit!⭐️VALUE & FINAL THOUGHTS⭐️It’s been a long time since I ordered a bathing suit from this platform that surprised me as much as this one has and I’m so glad I listened to my daughter.It’s flattering, versatile and the quality (materials and construction) is fantastic. The biggest surprise though is the price because for under $30, this is a total WIN!

I really love this swimsuit. Even though it’s a two-piece, it honestly looks like a one-piece when it’s on, which I love. It gives a really clean, flattering look without feeling boring or too covered up. It does cover all the right places though if you feel a bit more insecure about your stomach area.The quality is actually really nice. The fabric feels thick and well-made, not flimsy at all, and it holds everything in place without being uncomfortable. It hugs you in all the right spots and smooths you out in a way that makes you feel confident instead of squeezed.I felt comfortable wearing it all day, and it stayed in place whether I was swimming or just lounging. Overall, it’s super flattering, well-made, and easy to wear. Definitely one of my favorite swimsuits I’ve bought
