A necessity
We needed carbon monoxide detectors for when we are traveling. The extra protection puts us at ease in letting us know we are safe while we are sleeping. It was very easy to set up the detectors and the size is good enough to read all the numbers but conveniently sized where you can easily place it in your carry-on. Good quality and pricing, I definitely recommend adding to this to your travel essentials.

Good value
Works great right out of the box after installing the batteries. I just set it up on the book shelf at about 5ft off the floor. Good value, well spent safety measure!

Very small.
Very small, hopefully I never hear it go off. I use it when travelling. My only complaint is that there is no on/off switch and you need to remove a battery to disable it.

Very surprised
I’m very surprised I use this in my motorhome to sense carbon monoxide. This will not alarm on leaking propane but almost all of them don’t unless otherwise specified. I left my door open on my class C just to start up and pull it on top of the blocks and it instantly goes off. In that case works excellent.I gave the second one to my buddy and he uses a buddy heater in his RV, the buddy here has a low oxygen shut down but this will alarm right away.Is the Mount and very satisfied.

Great carbon monoxide detector for traveling
I recently took this with us for a Caribbean vacation. You can’t ever be too careful. It’s a great value for the money and a peace of mind. It’s very easy to use, all you need is batteries. The size is perfect for travel.

Carbin Monoxide Detectors.
I take these when I travel after hearing of several families that died at resorts from (CO) Carbon Monoxide. We also have power outages and run the generator outside. They have never gone off, but the display makes me feel comfortable that there is no CO. When not traveling I use them at home.

“Science” says they work
Just got these in the mail today and decided to conduct “science”. I popped some batteries in these, turned on the car (in the driveway) and stood behind the exhaust pipe with both monitors about chest high. Both testers immediately sounded a displayed around 400-600 ppm (I would assume this variation was due to being outside with wind). Seems to work to me.As far as looks go, they’re small, but they are thickies. They come with drywall anchors and screws as well as double sided tape. They weight maybe half a pound each so I just started off with the tape and will switch to the anchors if it falls off.As far as the alarm sound goes, they’re not terribly loud. The pamphlet claims 85 db, which they might be, but that seems awfully quiet for an alarm considering a fire alarm is typically over 100 ear shattering db. I could even see the argument that a CO detector should be louder than a smoke detector considering CO can’t be seen or really smelled…For the price and assumed accuracy, I’m satisfied and would consider buying more if I needed more. Based on the volume of the alarm, I might go ahead and purchase another pack and put one in front of our master bedroom and just find another place for the second.
