Comfortable
I bought this headset to supplement my work flying the Boeing 737. It’s comfortable, quiet, fairly minimalist, doesn’t get in the way, and is easy to deploy. With the case, it also fits neatly in my flight bag. Not having to bring batteries for ANR is also a plus. I’m fairly satisfied with it and cannot find anything to complain about this far.

blows doors off the 850
The 8+ puts the telex 850 to its final resting place. Inexpensive and rugged. Works even on a 737 cockpit, you’ll feel like you’ve got the old QC15’s and ufly mike on. You should wear this thing on a trip and try to go back to the 850 just to remind yourself how bad that thing is in comparison. Telex finally took a step into the larger world of proper headsets.

Good new headset.
Excellent headset. Works better than the 850, more comfortable. Fits my airline.

My cockpit used to be very noisy!
I did not realise how much noisy A320 is until bought 8+ANR. Now I enjoy the silence. Little bit too heavy and pushy on my bolding vertex, enough of comfort though. Sound quality expected to be better ( in comparison with my previous 850), probably ANR affects. All acoustic sources are equal now, no need continuosly to play with ACP, as I did while using company 750. The cord is good, very stiff, not prone for tangling. The box, on the opposite, is extremely soft, making me afraid of braking such expensive product. After long flight – feeling reluctant to put it off, want to continue wearing the headset on my way home and on. All sounds in cockpit are heard almost with no distortion. Expensive stuff, not sure everyone need it, but I do love my quiet flights now.

Loud & Uncomfortable, overpriced garbage
I was really excited to try this headset. I’m on the B767.It’s really uncomfortable on your head. My ears started to hurt after twenty minutes. A 6 h 38m flight was miserable. To top it all off, there is zero noise cancellation on this headset.I would be better off with some Fisher Price toy headset from the dollar store.

Professional pilot
I am an airline pilot for a cargo carrier flying the old Boeing727-200 and let me tell you ,these are the best for the job .Our Cokpit is noisy ,but the ANR on these work well and after hours on my head ,they are hardly noticeable.I love them and wear them over my Bose.

Are these products used?
Box comes pre opened, box come pre cut up, headset comes pre scuffed, amount of dust and lint makes one wonder if it’s used, returned, refurb, display model, or a really badly cared for new product even the bag has what looks like a entire line of stitching missing. Warranty card and manual look like somebody photocopied it in a 1950s copier.
