Best sunglasses on the market!
These are the best sunglasses I’ve ever owned. They will look good on anyone, but for pilots they are very hard to beat. These were official issue to military aviators for several decades (since changed to Randolph). Compared to Randolph, these are every bit as nice in my opinion, and at a less expensive price point. Do yourself a favor and get a pair – take care of them, and you’ll be well protected and stylish for years to come. For THE classic military look, go with the gold frames with green lenses.

Sturdy frame with glass lenses
So far I have been completely satisfied with these glasses. I just had cataract surgery and no longer wear prescription glasses. I wanted something well made, and also wanted to buy American. So, they are 10x the cost of the China-made glasses. They feel sturdy and are just the right amount of tint. Unless I do something stupid, they should last a very long time. They are a comfortable as my old prescription glasses so they feel like what I am accustomed to having. They are darker than my old Transitions lenses which I like. My second choice was the Italian-made Ray Ban glasses that were about $75 cheaper. But it was worth it to me to buy something made in USA.

Better than RayBan
First off, I wanted to get a pair of aviators but not match everyone and their mother who owns RayBans, and these are a perfect fit. I have owned a pair of the polycarbonate lens version, and these are much better, the design and the quality of materials are noticeably better. They also have a finish on the back of the lens that your eyes look through that prevents glare and mirroring that is a really cool and effective feature. Even tho these have a heft so that you can tell the company used quality materials, they are very light on your face and I forget I’m wearing them half the time.
