Customers say
Customers find the joystick to be of good quality and an excellent addition to Microsoft Flight Simulator. The build quality receives mixed feedback, with some customers describing it as well-built while others find it cheaply made. The functionality and value for money also get mixed reviews, with some saying it works well and is worth the price, while others report it failing after a month of use and consider it overpriced. The throttle control and stick drift aspects receive mixed feedback, with some customers reporting unusable throttles and significant motion issues, while others find them functional. Compatibility is another mixed aspect, with some customers reporting it works with various aircraft while others say it won’t connect to their PCs.

Super for the sim!
Great addition to my sim build. I ended up getting the second thrust controls sets to support more airplanes. Great quality and it’s ben 3 years I had these with no issues.

Works great. To buy at a lower price, check the price frequently.
I got MSFS in August 2020 and I had been using the keyboard for flying, but trying to control an aircraft with just a few controls on a keyboard can be very frustrating, indeed! Now that I have it, I really enjoy it, and it has really made a difference in my flying and landing performance. I really like it! This joystick has been for sale at highly inflated prices for months, sometimes even approaching twice the retail price. If you are interested in buying this, but you refuse to pay an exorbitant price, I suggest you keep checking Amazon’s price every day. When I bought it, It was being sold by third party vendors through Amazon, but very few of those vendors had positive ratings, so I kept on waiting. My patience was finally rewarded when I found a vendor with 95% positive ratings, who was selling the product for under $100.00. I bought it right away. About a month after I bought it, I once saw it for sale by Amazon directly, and at the original retail price, too! So, my advice is, if you see a good price from a reliable vendor purchase it immediately, because that price won’t last very long. I hope this helps. Happy flying.UPDATE: As of 2/20/21, Amazon is selling it for less than $70.00, but won’t deliver until early April. If you’re willing to wait, this is the best price ever.UPDATE#2: As of Oct. 2021, The joystick locks up after a minute or so into the flight. Then nothing works! It came with a one-year warranty, and I have submitted my information to the manufacturer for a replacement. It has been over three weeks, and I am still waiting to hear when the item will ship to me. i like the product, but their customer service needs to be improved.UPDATE#3: I received the replacement joystick in November 2021. Unfortunately, it totally quit functioning in less than a month. However, it is still under the original one-year warranty and Thrustmaster has agreed to send me a second replacement at no charge, for which I am grateful. I am waiting for that.UPDATE#4: It turns out that the second sidestick did not need to be replaced. The problem was a misunderstanding on my part. Initially, the second sidestick started exhibiting the same problems as the first one, but eventually, all of those problem went away. I have no idea why, but it is really working well now, so I am very happy about that. It a lot of fun to fly again, not having to worry about the sidestick malfunctioning. Also, I want to thank Thrustmaster for their support. While they weren’t the fastest, they certainly knew what they were doing, and they were very helpful and patient with me. I am very pleased.UPDATE #5 1-21-23.After using this sidestick for over two years, I bought a new one. The reason: Over the last few months, I have noticed problems with the aircraft whenever I tried to take off. The plane would veer to the left on the runway, often so severely that sometimes I was unable to keep it on the runway at all. I would try to counteract this by steering heavily to the right. A week or so ago, I read that the problem could be resolved by disassembling the sidestick, but I decided that was too complicated for me to go, so I ordered another one, instead. All in all, this has been a great product, even ignoring the initial problems I had experienced.

An Excellent Product
I bought this a few months ago and it is very nice. The quality is good. The engine master switches were slightly bent out of the box, but it was nothing too severe. The engine mode selector is nice and firm. The throttle levers are very smooth and the detents are very clicky. It also feels very heavy (although that’s probably because they added some weights, but still good regardless). The unboxing was nice and the quadrant was securely packaged. Setting up was as easy as plugging the thing in. I didn’t even have to reconfigure MSFS 2020 at all to use it. The ability to turn off the detents is a very thoughtful feature for flying non-Airbus aircraft. The thrust reverser is very good as well. I also like that they use USB-C for the connection. I can see myself using Thrustmaster flight sim products for a long while. $130 well spent.

It’s OK, small and all made of plastic
I would like to return this joystick, but it works as advertised. Expensive. The throttle controls look very good, the throttle tighten screw kinda- works, but it feels like I am going to break something as I tighten it. The left throttle control tightens, and the left stays loose. Wish I had saved my money and went with Honey Comb,

Fantastic. Minor ignorable stick drift, awesome product tho.
FANTASTIC and great for a budget airbus build. Will give you callouses from habitual use, subjective if thats good or not. I liked mine.Mine has developed minor stick drift, but it’s easy to set a deadzone in most applications.reccomend, when you get pedals, to bind twist into the tiller, instead of rudder. The extra slider on the sidestick gets underulitized when you have the throttle.

Muy facil de configurar
Buen material, pesa y eso permite que no se mueva con facilidad cuando uno está volando, mucho botones para diferentes configuraciones

An overpriced hunk of junk
PLEASE DO NOT BUY THISNow I’ve had this stick for about 8 months at first I loved it, it was great having a throttle quadrant; I upgraded from a Logitech Extreme 3D pro. In full functionality the stick is a bit sub par although seeing that it is a replica of a real world Airbus side stick that is ok, but the buttons on the base are really bulky and not ergonomic and sometimes hard to tell which one your pressing without looking, not that great in my opinion especially if you are playing in VR. The throttle however is very functional the buttons are easy to find as there are only a few and they are very well made. Although it is fully plastic and feels so cheap, it is light and doesn’t not feel like a ThrustMaster product, I just emphasize how unsatisfactory this product is. This stick was made for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and comes pre set up for that game but it does also work with a suite of other flight sims pretty well, i.e. Xplane11, FSX, and DCS. The throttle on the other hand is a bit finicky I have trouble getting it to work on Xp11 and I am finding it impossible to actually use it a a throttle in DCS (DCS acknowledges it as a stick rather then a throttle). I do love the stick though and have had little troubles with it beside the stated. In all I actually despise this product because it is an overpriced piece of junk it is no where worth the asking price it should be $50 this is not deserving of the ThrustMaster name and I’d recommend to save a bit more and just go get the warthog, that works with pretty much everything, or get the honey comb yoke. I plan to get this refunded and or a new one from ThrustMaster soon. If it wasn’t so expensive I would say it’s good but it just doesn’t warrant its high price for the performance you get. My 6 year old $45 Logitech Extreme 3D pro performed better then this and worked with every game and was actually very functional as well as tough. Again please do not buy this just save your money it was a major regret to buy this as I plan not even to keep it for a full year I’m am so eager to drop this stick and throttle.
Throttle quadrant faulty, didn’t work at all. My son was devastated. After some research, it appears it’s a common fault. –
Throttle Quadrant was faulty and didn’t work

Malgré que c’est du plastique il est de bonne qualité et tien très bien en main et il est très agréable pour voler avec par contre la molette sur le bas pour contrôler la vitesse est un peu cheap donc je recommande de vous acheter le throttle quadrant avec.
