High Quality, Tasteful, Larger Than Expected
Appears to be a very good bag. I was skeptical about paying so much for a flight bag, but I wanted something of higher than average quality. The first time I handled it, it felt heavier than I expected. The material seems to be a nice thick canvas. The bag is considerably my larger than I was expecting; about the size of a gym duffel bag. I will update my review if I feel it necessary, but I am very pleased overall.

Sturdy Bag.
Bag is very sturdy and has a lot of space for any size headsets on the ends and a huge center area which can hold a day of cloths with all other flight stuff. A bit on the expensive side but seems very durable. Zippers appear heavy duty. Shoulder strap is comfortable as well.

Nice Looking, Durable
First, this bag is so much nicer looking than most of the plain black bags out there. It is made of what seems to be a cotton canvas material, which I like much better than the nylon canvas that so many such bags are made of. The zippers appear to be sturdy, and the pockets in the front pouch are adequately sized.There are only two things that I wish for this bag. I chose this bag from among the many out there knowing that it has one of these shortcomings, but not the other.First, I wish it were a bit more stiff. If they would have put stiffening material between the layers in the center compartment, that would have made all the difference in the world. That could not be assessed by looking at the pictures online, which are obviously taken with the bag stuffed.Second, and this one I knew from the pictures and description but was willing to compromise, I wish it had a radio pocket. Instead, I have to put the radio in the large center space. Not a big deal, but it would have been nice to have.Overall, I do like the bag. I’ve got my case in it which carries my Insta360 camera and accessories, as well as radio, CX3, pens, pencils, etc., headset, and more. Plenty of room for the FAR/AIM and other books (I’m a student pilot). I recommend this bag, but with the caveat that the sides are floppy if you don’t fill it up.

Awesome bag and a great company!
I bought this bag for my fiancé when she finished commercial school and she absolutely loves it! About 6 months into using it daily the stitching on the bag where the handle connects started to come undone, after contacting Flight Outfitters and explaining the issue they sent out a brand new replacement bag that same day, no questions asked. These are very stylish and well built bags, I’m very surprised we had that issue and definitely don’t expect it to happen again but even if it does, this company stands by their products and that says a lot! I would definitely recommend not only this bag but any product made by Flight Outfitters; I know we will be back in the near future because the fiancé now wants their Bush Pilot Folio bag!

Awesome bag for flight school
This bag has been great. I bought it for flight school. Carries all my books, my head set, snacks and more. Could easily work as a gym or overnight bag as well. It’s almost a little too big for taking in the plane for short flights though. I would get a smaller bag as well in the future. Absolutely nothing wrong with the bag itself though.

Better than I expected!
This was exactly what I was looking for. Great quality and craftsmanship. The only reason I’m giving it a 4 star in durability is because (and this is just personal preference) the flap that is used to hold the two side straps together for hand carrying, I wish had buttons, rather than velcro. Still highly recommend for a long term use flight bag. Love it! (Also found a hidden surprise you can’t see in the pictures. – I’ll let you figure it out; but it has proven extremely convenient for me.)

Wish I could have kept it.
I will start by saying that I did return the product, but not because of poor craftmanship or damage. I was looking for a new flight bag, and I really liked the look and feel of this one. Everything fit, with room to spare.Here is the reasons for the return:1) Here was the biggest reason, the headset pockets had no cushioning to protect the headsets. When spending up wards of 1300 dollars for a headset, you want to protect them. The lack of any cushioning for the headset, and the pocket not being big enough to insert the headcase into the pocket made it a no go.2) The lack of any tablet protection. I had my iPad mini in a hardcase for a while, and didn’t like the way it fit on the yoke, just too bulky in an already tight work space. With that being the case, I want my iPad to have some protection at least while its in a flight bag, and this bag does not offer any padded pockets for any electronics (ADS-B receivers, tablets, headphones, etc.).3) Then the final, and not necessarily a deal breaker was the lack of any kind of large compartment dividers. It is a large center compartment that you can put all the rest of your flight gear and a change of clothes in with room to spare. But it would be no different that getting a gym bag and throwing everything into one of those for one third of the price.Again, I loved the look and feel of the bag. The overall size was about perfect, the fit and finish was great and the craftmanship looked as if it would stand the test of time. If the first two items were addressed by adding padding to the headset pockets and having a padded tablet pocket, I would buy this bag right away!
