Quality, well built. Tough, lockable zippers, smoothly maneuvering, esthetic Check-In suitcase.
Light, very strong fabric, well built, flexible for over-packing. Toughness for airport abuse. Smoothly traveling 8 wheeler. The internal liquids tight pouch is very useful. Its location next to a solid wall shields its content against compression and squeezing. There is a TSA approved 3 digits combination zippers lock for unauthorized non-destructive opening. It is definitely a quality and esthetic Check-In suitcase.

Easy to Manuver and Excellent Quality Medium Travel Case
Great travel case, the medium is large enough for a week’s worth of standard clothing as long as you don’t have lots of shoes to pack. Has held up well and rolls easily. Very durable. I purchased the first one over a year ago, it is the one pictured on the left. I was thrilled to know the same model was still available so purchased a second one just last week. Photo shows the new one still with the tags on it.It comes with a lock, which I have not yet used, although I have flown with the older one a couple of times. I just wished Travelpro offered a duffle bag to match.

Great Sturdy Build Quality, Easy to Drag Anywhere
This is a fantastic, compact case. On its own it’s super light, but filled with all your stuff it can be quite heavy. Its build quality is fantastic and sturdy, with big thick zippers. It’s got plenty of compartments for organization, and has a zipper to allow you to make more space on the inside. But the casters on this thing are the highlight of the show. Those things are phenomenal, they survived 2 full weeks of abuse rolling around all of southern Japan on gravel and concrete without signs of fatigue. They’re extremely smooth and balanced. On a flat surface you can give the suitcase a light push and it will keep going in a straight line for what might as well be forever. This thing is easy to roll anywhere, no matter how bumpy the surface.I won’t sugarcoat it though, this thing is on the pricy side. But if you’re willing to pay extra for quality, you can’t go wrong with this as long-term purchase.

Sturdy, high quality mid-sized luggage – packs a ton due to size
After much research we settled on this case, for a medium set of luggage.It packs a ton – being as deep as it is (plus it even extends). We also love the built in garment bag, which was part of the reason we chose this case. It is on the bigger side of medium checked luggage and you can pack 1-2 weeks of clothes, depending on the kind of trip. The zipper and wheels seem very sturdy, it rolls well and, overall the quality seems very good!The only downside is that it is a bit more heavy than other options, but of course also sturdier for that reason. For us, it was the perfect choice for those shorter trips where our 29″ B&R bag was too much but a carry on wouldn’t be sufficient. Definitely recommend.

Worth the money
Travel Pro gear is a little more expensive than the other brands, but you get what you pay for. My previous Swiss Gear gave up after a few months of regular use, but this is still going strong. Very durable and not showing any wear after the first few months of regular travel. Blue color does show dust and dirt. Wheels are solid, zipper works good. Handle appears to be great quality so far.

The perfect carry-on
I put this Travelpro carry-on to the ultimate test on a recent trip to Japan, and it performed brilliantly. This trip involved a lot of hauling luggage up and down stairs in train stations, maneuvering through crowded trains, and rolling across city sidewalks. This bag handled it all without a single issue.What impressed me most:It’s Genuinely Lightweight: I had to carry this bag up multiple flights of stairs (many stations don’t have escalators everywhere), and it was incredibly manageable. The low weight was a lifesaver.Smooth & Tough Wheels: The wheels are fantastic. I rolled this thing for miles, and it was perfectly smooth. The most amazing part was how well it handled the bumpy, yellow blind-accessible paving stones found all over Japanese sidewalks. Enjoyed it on first trip.It rolls on flat surfaces effortlessly. A Filson 24 Hr Briefcase with luggage pass-thru sits atop beautifully.Space enough for a 3-day trip. Looks like it could accommodate clothes enough for a week-long trip, with some planning.Published size larger than prescribed carry-on allowance for Singapore Airlines.Was checked-in. Sturdy enough to come out the other end unscathed. Well constructed.Does not come with a TSA lock.

I’m picky about Carry-on luggage and although I haven’t found a perfect soft-sided roller, this one is as close as I’ve found. Fairly light, excellent wheels, sturdy ergonomic handle, expands a bit, well organized and well made. I travel light and if I add my TravelPro Crew Tote, I’m good for a 3-4 week trip(with some laundry along the way). The only way to get something I like better would be to design and manufacture a soft-sided roller myself. I look forward to many years of organized Carry-on travel.
