Nice Panel, but needsa little help to work properly!
I eagerly added this panel to my existing Logitech flight system thinking that it would work with the MSFS 2020 plugin properly installed. Well, it all worked except for the LED display which made it almost worthless. I was almost ready to send it back to Amazon as being defective when I found a “fix” for it on Youtube. If you are using Windows 10, you must change the USB registry per the guide on the Youtube video. Now it works like a champ and is a very nice addition to the instrument cluster. Logitech (Saitek) does not mention this issue anywhere on their website. Cosmetically, the unit looks brand new, but it was missing the 4mm panel screws. Overall, a good value for the price.

Great add-on panel and works as advertised. Makes simming more real.BE AWARE, it MUST be plugged into its’ own USB PORT….. (suggest type 3 if you have one)It doesn’t seem to work if you plug into back of yoke, but will work in direct plug in.Get the newest drivers and the test panel prograam from logi-saitek.

In general it’s a useful panel for autopilot but it still can be improve:1. The knob should be designed to two rings (outer + inner like the radio panel), so that it would be much more convenient when adjusting the altitude in a large range. E.g. outer ring for adjusting thousands and inner ring for hundreds.2. The pitch trim is really not a good design here for tune the elevator pitch. I’m sure it could be easily re-programmed to be other functionalities (for free), like to adjust VS rate.

Does not work with MSFS 2020
Despite trying all methods to map to keys in MSFS 2020 this will not work. Possibly because it was renewed it was just defective. Lights kept flashing and controls ineffective despite mapping to specs.

DOESN’T WORK AS ADVERTISED
Display doesn’t show numbers when trying to select any of the options for the autopilot. It communicates with the simulator to activate AP modes but without numbers it is useless.I received a replacement BUT believe it or not it doesn’t work either. I have 3 other Logitech products and they work fine with at least 2 flight sims.Returning the first faulty one costs more than the product’s price in transport from CL

Many of negative reviews I have read can easily be resolved. The unit I received functions perfectly. If you are having issues there are a few things you can do. First you need to go to LogitechG website and download the necessary Windows plugin for 7, 8,10 or 11. Give your multi panel its own USB port. Your motherboard USB header can give you issues if your flight sim peripherals and other peripherals like backlit gaming keyboards, throttle quadrants, switch panels, radios, mfd panels, webcams, etc, draw more power than the USB ports on your motherboard can provide so buy a powered USB hub. Thank me later. Download the test software so you can check to make sure all buttons and switches are working correctly.
