Great for DISPATCHING radio in 911 Centers
Poly (formerly known as Plantronics) makes great headsets for Public Safety Dispatch.I have been in this field for 22 years.Recently my two ear headset started to give me a pressure headache so I decided to go to the one ear.I like THIS ONE EAR product because nothing actually goes into my ear. It basically just sits over my ear.I have added the clip (which did not come with the unit) to be able to clip it to my eyeglasses.If you don’t have a clip you can still slip it right over your ear.It’s lightweight and comfortable.The sound is great and the functionality is what I expected.It’s new so I can not speak of the durability just yet but it seems very well made. Having used plantronics products for many many years I know this product will hold up.Poly (Plantronics) makes a USB adapter to add to this that can be purchased separately if you want to use this product on a laptop or for off site dispatching.

The head peice broke on the clear plastic near the ear snap on. Disappointed. That part of cheaply made. Tried to fix it.

My work offers these headsets, but it was a five week week to get it sent to me so I went ahead and ordered one and it was the best decision I ever made so instead of having the whole headset that is annoying hurt your head and bulky. I have just a little individual one ear headset, and it just makes work so much more efficient and causes less migraines and the sound quality is perfect with being in the call center with everybody on either side of me talking all day long and talking loudly. I’ve had zero complaints of members hearing what’s going on in the background and being able to actually hear them with no issues.

Excellent headset for my PC
At first I was frustrated because it moved around on my ear too much. I find that if I attach the clip on the cord ( which is located about 8 inches from the earpiece) to the back of my shirt (collar, neck or shoulder), it completely stabilizes the movement and solves that one problem. It’s lightweight. I can hear well and the sound for others is crystal clear. I use it with Zoom phone, Zoom meetings and skype on a windows PC, plugged into the USB port using this adapter https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B074VBBFZM.

The unit works well but doesn’t come with everything. You have to purchase another cord separately in order to plug it in to usb port

Great headset. Especially if you have a lot of hair!
This is the best headset I have ever used. I prefer monaural headsets by far, but I was looking for something that wouldn’t get tangled in my hair due to the piece that goes across the head. I have a lot of hair, and I don’t usually wear it pulled back in a bun or ponytail. I also have small ears which also limits the choices available to me. This headset has great sound quality and I can be heard crystal clear on the other end as well. It comes with two different sized ear clips, which was a huge plus for me. The ear clip and microphone can be gently bent for a more customized fit. I have to bend the earpiece every morning when I start work, but it stays all day. That’s just me, though. It may be different for others. You will also need to purchase the adapter according to what device you will be using separately as it does not include one. I purchased a USB adapter for an additional $17 here on Amazon which works great as well.

Docking a star only because of how heavy it is on the earth. With working 12 hour shifts, it’s very uncomfortable to wear that long with how heavy it is

Made without thought
You can’t really tell, this plastic piece prevented the ear sound cover to stay on. I ended up having to cut it to make it work. Made without thought or half way thought through. I needed the headset for work, but for the money. Not worth it.Update**** is not a good product!!

Noise cancelling: 100% i have kids they run arround the house unless they scream directly at the mich they won’t be heardIssues:i have to buy a separate adapter for it since it is designed to function with avaya while i needed a USB one. To sum it up it’s expensiveEarhooks: so it comes with small and large earhook but i say it’s not univeral (we all don’t have same ear shape) it falls off so i had to do aome DIY to make sure it hooks properly on my ear.Mute button is a bit stiff there’s a 2 sec delay when muting and unmuting.Why did i buy it and not return: NOISE CANCELING WORKS
