Very good and awesome price.
I have never bought anything but Alpha when it comes to flight jackets. But with the price that they want for an alpha flight jacket has gone up considerably in the last few years. So I caved in and bought one of these. I saw that they sold these on a sight just for pilots also so I thought I’d give them a chance. Well this jacket is bomb it Fits well looks good and it’s nice and warm very well insulated. Looks almost exactly the same as an alpha for 3 times less the price! Also made in the U.S.A. so I would highly suggest if you want a good flight jacket made in the U.S.A. and you are a traditional anti racist skinhead and proud of it buy this flight you won’t be sorry and anybody else out there that love the look they are excellent jackets and light but toasty.

Big. Bulky. Well Constructed
This is a big heavy jacket. I usually order jackets a bit larger so I can fit a hoodie under them. This jacket is very bulky, likely great for cold weather but way too much jacket for me. Although I returned it and will not be getting another, it was solidly constructed and very warm. If I were looking for a coat to wear in a different climate I would like this but the temperature changes so much here layers are the only way to go. Looked great too!I am 5’11” 170lbs- The large fit my dimensions OK but was very bulky. I think a Med would have been a better choice. Due to the bulk though, I am getting a something lighter.

Great retro fit jacket
Great retro fit. Retro in that the sleeves are shorter than modern jacket cuts. But I bought it specifically for this. Also the filling is very good at insulation. Very warm jacket. Stylish and comfortable. My 2nd jacket in this style. (Donating my old one) awesome zipper quality.

Our family all want to wear the Rothco MA1’s!
These fit true to size, although the body is a tad big.These Rothco MA1’s are very warm, but not waterproof. They do have an adequate level of water resistance, however. We have green and burgundy, but there’s 3 of us. These are made well enough, that for their price we’ll buy blue & grey to have other options!!! Buy It Now 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

Nicely cushioned and light weight.
I bought the flight jackets in black for me and my boyfriend. On me it was true to size, I’m a Medium (M). My boyfriend is a Large (L) but when he tried on the jacket it fit him too small. I had to purchase an Extra Large (XL) and return the L, which I paid to ship back. The XL came within days and fit great. One thing my boyfriend and I noticed was that the jackets rise up around your waist. If we extend our hands forward or upward the material bunches up around and we have to constantly pull it down (I’m 5’7′ he’s 5’8′). My boyfriend does not like that! We usually wear the jacket paired with a hoodie so we don’t have to deal with it as much but it’s one of the few things we didn’t like about the quality of the it.We still wear the jackets. We feel that they’re light weight, they’re also cushioned on the inside to keep you warm. The zipper takes a bit of getting used to, it’s bulky in my opinion. Overall I would say we are satisfied with our purchase. These jackets are perfect for the spring weather!

Style, quality, Value. So what it’s just Cool!
I have to say, I feel a little bad now coming to write my review. I should have been singing my jackets praises from the start. Now she’s gone all I have left is the memories. Yes, I thought I might warn some but hopefully let you know how sharp, stylish, just Cool this jacket is. At 5’10 and 275lbs I’m a tank. Ok was a tank as I trained over the years as a Marine. I always admired the bombers jacket. But was for the pretty little fly boys. I was a big bad grunt. I’ve softened over the years. Not to soft. But sift enough. So what the hell, heart wants what the heart wants. Order and received my Enhanced 3xl jacket maybe 10 days ago. Been flying high ever since. Well until a couple of nights ago. I needed a warm jacket for a storm that came in. I knew the jacket was a little short and a little tight. 3XL is usually plenty big enough. Had I grown? All I know is after helping friends and neighbors with preparing for the storm. My lower back and front half was frozen. The rest of me was fine. I knew it was to small for sure then. I may have froze but by God I looked good getting frozen. Compliments left and right. It’s a great jacket. I’m having fun with this review but bottom line. Quality, Value, Style. They run a little tight and even more short. But that’s the look your looking for. Just keep it in mind. I still don’t know why 3XL is there biggest size. Damn pretty flyboys!

Disappointed
I purchased the Rothco MA-1 to keep in the trunk of a convertible in the event I was out during a weather change. I really wanted to like this jacket due to its low cost and classic style but when it arrived, it was disappointing. The color seemed a little off when compared to more expensive MA-1 jackets on the market such as the Alpha or Cockpit version. I’m 5’11” and 170# with a 41″ chest which typically puts me between a medium and large. Based on reviews for this jacket, I decided to size down to a medium when ordering. When the jacket arrived, the waist area was so large it didn’t fit snugly across the top of my jeans. I have a 34″ waist but this jacket was cut for someone with at least a 40″ waist. The chest was equally HUGE. This would have been more appropriate for someone looking for a Large or Extra Large. It got boxed up and returned. Too bad. I wanted to like it but it wasn’t for me.

I’m 6ft 140 pounds – medium fits like a glove. Good and warm. A little on the puffy side, but I’m sure that will settle down with age.
