Love these. Worked very well through our house.

Poor battery life and customer service
Poor customer service! Leave a text msg. They don’t respond!Pamphlet says 2HRS standby time- worthless! They avoid this detail in description. Other, similar devices for 1/2 the price, offer 3x more battery life.
DM –
Troublesome to use but once you get the routine down they will work.
Cumbersome to use – doesn’t function the same every time so it becomes annoying sometimes.
Nic –
Convenient
Great product. Small and useful

Decent little communicators
These little communicators are surprisingly effective for being able to talk to someone at the other end of the house without yelling at each other. My wife has been charging hers every night, but I just left mine on and the battery lasted for a couple of weeks. I just charged it the other day, and it’s been working great ever since. The one thing I’m not crazy about is it’s a bit difficult to set your ringtone, and for some reason that’s also the sound that plays when you’re calling someone else. I’d like it more if there was a sound that played when I was calling my wife, and a different sound that played when she was trying to call me. As-is it’s a little weird, but it works.

Effective
These wireless intercoms are effective for notifying the “other end” that you need attention. And the “talk” function is a real plus.Pressing the “call” button results in a beeping sound on the other end, which is a good alert. But talking into one end results in a verbal message being heard on the other end. That saves the caregiver a lot of steps back and forth.

Disappointing Wireless Intercom System
The initial setup of the Hosmart Intercoms was a hassle, with unclear instructions and a steep learning curve. The battery life was severely lacking, providing only a couple hours of standby time, far below the claimed 2 hours. Reaching out to customer service was futile, as they failed to respond to messages. Overall, this wireless intercom system fell short of expectations in terms of ease of use and performance during the first month of use.

A good product – but…
These wireless paging/intercom devices are about the size of a bar of soap and feature 2 buttons – one labeled monitored and the other Call. In the monitored mode the other pendent will listen to that unit while the call button will alert the other unit and allow 2 way communication. These units will only talk to each other but only inside your home – they do not communicate with you either thru Wi-Fi or by telephone, in other words, if your wife falls down while you’re at work you will not be notified even if she presses the CALL button. It may be able to tie this into an Alexa device that has the telephone function enabled but I did not try this out.The package includes 2 pendants and neck lanyards, 2 charging bases and USB charging cables – no chargers are included. Charge time is about 3 hours.
