decent price, probably works, horrible instructions
I bought this to measure fuel pressure on a boat engine (volvo penta 5.0gxi). Our boat is already drained for the winter, but I wanted to know now if it is going to work so I attached the gauge to the high pressure rail schrader valve (no adapter was needed). It seemed to fit perfect and pushed in the pin like it should as a tiny bit of gas dribbled out until it was fully tightened. The low pressure side of the system also has a schrader valve but it is much smaller (similar to a tire valve)… there is no adapter for this type of valve included, so I’m on the search… I had to take away a star because the instructions (if you can call them that) are worthless broken english translations. I would guess if you could find these instructions in their original language, they would not make sense in that form either.

The gauge seems ok, but everything that comes with it is trash
I guess these good reviews are from people who didn’t need to use the adapters. The adapters are useless. They do not depress the shrader valve like they’re supposed to, so you have to take the shrader out to test the pressure. TERRIBLE DESIGN. The adapters are very cheap and do not fit together well, so even with a lot of thread tape they still sprayed gas all over.Gauge seems fine, but the protective cover was haphazardly thrown on and arrived misshapen and would no longer stay on the gauge properly. Nearly every component was loose in the case, so don’t count on it keeping them organized.Product may be fine if it fits your application without the adapters, but don’t use it as a “universal” gauge, unless you don’t mind taking unnecessary steps and getting gas everywhere just to test the fuel pressure.I bought this mostly for motorcycles, but since the adapters are garbage, it won’t work for me. Huge hassle and a lot of time wasted for a test that should have taken only minutes.
