Doesn’t come with a hoop to hold windsock.
Took off one star – because Windsock does not come with hoop. You have to reuse your old hoop or make a hoop.

Over Consumer –
A big step up in quality over the more inexpensive ones.
I keep a windsock on a pole in my backyard 24×365. I use it so I know when I can put one of my RC planes in the air. Normally I get the inexpensive windsocks and they last a few months before they become faded and tattered. I got this one to see if you get what you pay for. I believe that’s the case for this windsock. The material is made of feels much thicker and stronger, with almost a raincoat feel to it. Much nicer than the thin nylon I’m used to. Unfortunately, I didn’t look close enough at the description and didn’t realize I would need a frame for this to attach to. I’m on the lookout for a frame because I believe this windsock is worth it.

10″ is good as a secondary windsock, but I’d still get an 18″ if you have a strip
This one doesn’t have the separate white/orange color indications on it, which is fine – it’s more of a hangar decoration for me. I’m on a 1800ft grass strip and typically you’d want an 18″ for visibility. But 10″ is fun for the house and hangar.

Good Quality / Smaller than Regulation
I have reviewed another windsock from this company and find that the quality for both is pretty good. The material is strong. The stitching is robust and should hold up to wind and rain. The windsock measures 10″ in diameter at the throat, and 36″ long. While the marketing materials note that the windsock is FAA compliant, actual windsocks are supposed to be significantly larger. Regulation is 18″ in diameter at the throat, and 8 feet long. The color of the windsock is a good fluorescent orange. I would very much like to see this company offer their 10″ diameter frames on Amazon. I see that they are listed on their website.
