Monitoring for safety
Completely portable and apparently accurate. We take it to the cabin when we’re going to burn wood or kerosene there, just to be on the safe side.

Accurate and responsive
Works very well. Seems to be accurate and responsive, less than 2 seconds to get readings. Battery lasts a very long time. Magnet on neck could be stronger but just a minor gripe.

4.5 Stars. Accurate. Easy to read. Wish it had disposable batteries for longevity..
4.5 Stars. Read on..This does indeed function well as a carbon monoxide detector. I was able to detect carbon monoxide from an intentionally set gas leak. The display is BRIGHT, easy to read & understand, and it’s easy to carry. The temperature read is accurate. I cannot vouch for the humidity reading, but I have no reason to doubt it.At $25, this is a well-priced item.CONSIDER THIS:My one complaint is the use of a rechargeable lithium-ion battery. While this is typically seen as an upgrade, I consider it a fault. An item like this has a functionally useful life of decades. However, rechargeable lithium-ion batteries naturally decay REGARDLESS of use. After 3 years, battery life will be degraded significantly. In Summary. I think this is a VERY GOOD portable detector for the FREQUENT traveler OR a person who wants PERMANENT detection. However, if you are a traveler interested in occasional use, just remember that odds are you’ll be throwing this out sooner than you might expect.RECOMMENDED. It does everything it is advertised to do – well – and at a low cost.

Peace of mind for car camping.
This is a small, compact CO detector. It also displays the temperature and the humidity. The temperature seems accurate. The humidity hasn’t changed much over the last week of testing. Fortunately, the CO level hasn’t changed. I did not try to put it by an engine or anything else so I’m trusting that it works. The display is bright. In the pictures, it is in my tent and I took the pictures with night mode on my phone. Battery is still showing half after a week. Much better than the advertised life span of a week. I got this for peace of mind as I sleep in my truck usually when camping. I leave the doors open a lot before getting in and we always have a campfire. I’m pretty sure that with the doors open CO isn’t getting trapped in the vehicle but I’d rather be safe than sorry. Overall, I’m very happy with this little unit.

Excellent CO detector with high PPM alert – bonus cordless operation, temp, and humidity!
For years we have used the Kidde carbon monoxide detector with the red LED and AAA battery operation. These have always been a staple in our household. But what about when we travel – go to a cabin up north, spend the night in an RV, go to a hotel we are not too familiar with? When I saw this portable carbon monoxide detector I saw an opportunity to keep my family and I safe when we travel, and to add an additional detector on our main floor level, rather than just in the basement. The unit is about the size of a tape measure. It is really compact. I charged it for three hours, to top off the charge, with the included USB-C cable. The detector comes with a wrist lanyard and a belt clip. The instructions were well written and spoke about the many features of this detector, including color coded alerts (dependent on the PPM of CO detected), the visual and audio alarms, and the whopping 168 hour battery life. (that’s an entire week). Being a little skeptical, I ran the detector for an entire week, hanging in the hall on our key rack. After a week it still had charge and continued to operate. I like the fact that it also has temperature and humidity readings. Switching temperature units was a piece of cake – a single button depression. The display is bright at first, but eventually dims to save battery power. That is a smart piece of engineering, as the energy is better reserved for the alarm. There is a magnet on the back for attachment to a refrigerator, cabinet, or steel door, although I think that hanging it on a hook is a more secure way to put it up. The magnet, while fairly strong, still moved a little when on the fridge. The detector is housed in a sturdy case. It is not a particularly heavy unit, but it feels good in the hand. There is definitely a sense of quality that went into this detector.I look forward to using this on our next weekend adventure. We are considering getting a couple more, particularly for those times when we have a power outage and have to use our generator. This will ensure that exhaust isn’t blowing into the house with too high of a level of carbon monoxide. For less than $30, this is a bargain.

Owners manual print isn’t readable Battery life is short!
Battery doesn’t last long. And the owners manual is printed so same it’s a joke! Not easy to operate without the directions.

Works great 👍
Works great. Just watch the battery life. It will last a while but does drain if just left in your ruck sack for long periods of time. Give it a good charge before you go out. It will be great.
