Don’t buy, this GPS is a disaster
Don’t buy, this GPS is a disasterWhy?- at turn on it wakes in 3D mode, only shows 1/2 mile of road- getting it to 2D mode is a pain- even in 2D no +/- keys to show the big picture- I entered an address 2000 miles away, 2-hours later it was still trying to compute a route- No voice prompts- My Garmin’s did all this with ease

Great for the price
Doesn’t feel like a garmin. Very light. Voice not very load. However all the displays are nice. It even tells you house numbers on both sides of you as you drive. The mount system is a bit awkward and a bit large.

Could be better.
Some of the distance warnings are off. It says to turn in 900 feet but after 200 it says turn here and you often miss the turn. Also the clock on the device does not update. Mine is 7 hours off.

Not useable in daylight due to dim screen
This GPS is so dim and the screen is so reflective as to be unusable in daylight. I do not understand all the positive reviews.ProsCheap priceConsThe display is way too dim and cannot be made brighter.The screen is highly reflective like a mirror which prevents you from seeing details.The sun visor clips are flimsy, fall out easily and don’t solve the reflection problem.There is no GO HOME button.The screen layout is not simple like other GPS’s and learning how to navigate is painful.The power cord is on the left side which obscures your field of vision a bit.The software was not updated and didn’t show things that were two years old.Too many unused icons are displayed and too much work to input the destination and go.The manual was missing important how-to information. Hard to figure out on my own.I returned this GPS after three frustrating days.
