Arrived, used once, and tossed it. The device is slow, clunky, and full of limitations. Unless you stick to the handful of preconfigured options in its system, it glitches and errors out.Example: I typed in the address of a car wash just 10 minutes away, and after 5 minutes it showed me everything else around (closed businesses included) except the one I actually needed. It wouldn’t even accept my home address to get me back to Ohio. I also tried to route to a Sheetz in Pennsylvania no luck, used phone for that too which is what I did NOT want to do.As a traveling salesman, I needed speed, accuracy, and flexibility. This delivered none of those. Outside my home state? Forget it! It simply refused to pull data.I went back to using mobile data within a day. If you just want a basic speed monitor, maybe it works. But for real travel use? Zero value. Do not recommend.

No way to get “free lifetime updates” indicated with the product packaging and difficult menus.
This GPS has a nice screen and large icons, but some functions are hard to use and the product info on this page is either incomplete or misleading.1) This page says “Stay prepared with free lifetime map updates available via our official website.” However the devices packaging does not include a manual or any indication of the manufacture or a website. This page says the Manufacture is “GPS-HJX”. I could not find any info or website related to GPS-HJX. The logo “Carpuride” is used in the brand info. While they have a website, a search for J908, the model listed on the box, does not reveal any information on the Carpuride website related to this model. So how do we get the promised map updates? The following is the reason I was looking for alternat map information.2) A search of “Michigan” for “Van Riper State Park” results in nothing found. A search of “Michigan” for “State Park” finds many parks in Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Minnesota, with a few Michigan State Parks, but not many and not the ones I need to navigate too, the purpose in making this purchase.3) I live about a mile from a small town in rural America. A search for my address yields no results. I was only able to find my own address by entering the full 10 digit zipcode. There is no way to enter a street address, as you must enter the city first, then the street, and it searches and bombs out before the street address is presented in a list, or not. When trying to find a location it is not likely that I will know the full 10 digit zipcode.4) As others pointed out the sticky tape initially fell off. I stuck it back on and tried to stick it to the dash of my Ram 1500. It would not stick and hold the display. Frustrated I left the disk laying on the dash in the sun, and later I found it had adhered to the dash from the heat.I rarely do reviews, but the fact that they make a big deal to indicate that lifetime updates are available and then do not provide the basic information necessary to use that feature motivated me to write this review.

GPS works great but the Sticky tape is crinkled so I can’t use it. So As of now I haven’t mounted the GPS. I gotta figure out where to get it, and what size I need to.
