Major Performance and Aesthetic Upgrade for my Flightaware / PiAware Setup
As an ADS-B data feeder, I was looking for an upgrade from my homemade copper discone antenna. I chose this ADS-B Antenna Set Bundle and I’m extremely pleased with the results.In just two days of use, the 1090MHz antenna has made a major difference. I’m now receiving data from significantly more aircraft, and from a much greater distance than before. The performance is a fantastic improvement, and it has enhanced my data feed to Flightaware via my Raspberry Pi and Piaware setup.I also connected the 978MHz antenna using a second SDR and enabled ADSB-UAT (dump978) in Piaware. While I haven’t received any aircraft on that frequency yet, I understand this is quite common due to it being a less-used mode. If it’s anything like the 1090 antenna I’m confident that when the signals appear I’ll see them.Beyond the performance, the antennas look sleek and professional, a huge upgrade over my home-built antenna. This bundle is a great value and a cost-effective way to get a solid performance boost. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to improve their ADS-B reception.

Great Build Quality – Be Aware These Are Separate 978 & 1090 MHz Antennas
I originally bought this set thinking the antennas covered a frequency range from 978–1090 MHz, but just to clarify: one antenna is tuned specifically for 978 MHz, and the other is for 1090 MHz, they are not dual-band or wideband.They aren’t compatible with my Meshtastic radio as I had hoped, but I plan to repurpose them for a custom SDR-based cyberdeck project. For that use, these should be a perfect fit.That said, I’m impressed by the build quality—both antennas feel solid, well-machined, and made from materials that can take a beating. The included SMA connectors and MCX adapters are a nice touch too. I haven’t tested signal performance yet, so functionality is still pending, but as far as physical quality and value go, this is a strong buy for SDR hobbyists or anyone needing frequency-specific antennas.

Great reception!
These ADS-B antennas fit great with my RTL-SDR. I like that the bundle includes both 1090 MHz and 978 MHz, so I can cover both frequencies. Even living in a valley where reception is tough, these gave me a noticeable boost—I was finally able to make more contacts with my receiver.They’re well built, the gain is excellent, and for the price, the value is really solid. Definitely a worthwhile upgrade if you’re running an SDR for ADS-B.

Perfect for small ADS-B receivers
These antennas are great for small ADS-B receivers (perfect for raspberry pi builds)The antennas have great range, functionality and are a great value for the money. They’re clearly labeled for use with the correct band and do a great job at picking up planes via either the 978mhz or 1090mhz and can easily track any aircraft using their ADS-B signals and do a great job helping me supply information just outside of Dulles international airport! I’ve even been able to pick up planes much further and have on occasion found flights as far away as New Jersey!

Good range, not sure if I’d use in the field often
Good snug fit, not sure how much i would use in the field, but with flat terrain this more than doubled the range of my stock antenna recieved on my mesh devices.
