Customers say

Customers find the headset’s sound quality clear and comfortable, sitting well on the head, and consider it good value for money. The functionality and compatibility receive mixed reviews – while some say it works well with office phones, others report it stops working unexpectedly and doesn’t work with Polycom devices. Moreover, the noise cancellation feature has significant issues, with customers reporting static noise and blocking their own voice.

    Very affordable and works well
Bought this for my new office and it works great. The company is in the process of getting us some really good headsets, but for the time being this one works great and was very affordable. The only thing I would say is that i wish the wire was a bit longer as I use a sit-stand desk and when i am standing its pretty much at the max and pulls a bit if i move around. But for what this one costs, I have zero complaints. I will note that on my NEC phone system at work, I had to remove the controller that comes with this one and plug the headset directly into the headset jack on the phone without the controller because the controller was not allowing the microphone to work properly even with all the different settings. But without the controller it works great!

    Works but go cordless.
I wish I had bought cordless. The product functions as expected. But the cord is bothersome. I recommend going cordless.

    Cheap materials but decent performance
This review was made for a model purchased in March 2017:——————————–Pros: It kept my hands free for typing, the microphone stayed put, the plastic “arm” holding the microphone was bendable and very sturdy. I really liked that I could adjust it so easy and feel confident that it wouldn’t slip out of position. Good quality audio from the earpiece speaker.Cons: It was a little pricey for my taste, the materials seemed like cheap quality, and it was bit uncomfortable to wear for a long time in my opinion. The earpiece made my ear sore after a few hours, it was just too small and thus rested against my ear awkwardly. It slid off my ear a lot, constantly had to readjust it.The metal headband was unmoldable and did not lay properly, it always felt like the headset would fall off. If I tried to tilt my head downward to look at the floor it would fall off.Something about the headset’s voice recording is strange. I played back my calls from time to time and I could hear an echo and sometimes customers complain about it. Maybe the microphone was picking up the audio from the speaker or maybe I got a wonky headset, I never did figure out the problem or a solution…The cord was too short and stiff and could not be bent or manipulated in order to make it sit properly on the desk, this caused the “remote” on the cord to lay upside down! I even went as far as using a piece of tape to hold the cord in the proper position…——————————–[Edited] After leaving my two-star review because of these minor annoyances, customer support reached out to me and offered a full refund with no return required. They also thanked me for my review as it was useful for them to make updates to the headset. I adjusted my rating to 4 stars due to their great customer relations and reassurance that the model would be updated, l hope they solve those issues.

You get what you paid for: ~50% fail within a few months
I bought quite a few of these (8 binaural and 9 monaural model) AGP headsets over the past couple of years; they rarely fail to fail within a few months, some within weeks – a couple made it through a year+The sound quality is usually OK – but often degraded with our side the main suspect.I tried – once – to activate the warranty, but found out I have to send this $13-$14 item back, at my own expense, to be examined and only then may receive a replacement. The current warranty term/coverage is a joke. So, if you’re OK with a low-cots item of passable quality that will most likely fail within 3 months under medium usage – this is the headset for you!I’m very happy for the 4-5 star reviewers here that – evidently – had great luck with their purchase.PS – If you want a pile of 10 of these with a variety of issues (can’t hear other side, other side can’t hear you, sound suddenly goes in and out etc.), I’ll gladly let you have it (for delivery fees; I would like to keep the seller’s standards!)Quick update: Had to lower my review to a single star, as a recent batch started failing within weeks. Naturally, by the time the user reported that everybody calling hear an echo – it’s been 6 weeks and I can’t return (yet another) faulty unit. So, failure percentage remains high – and support/warranty nonexistent. Probably not worth it even for the bargain shoppers.

    Great product
It is easy to install. However, at first I had a hard time finding the connect channel with out any static. Over all, easy to use.

really good hands free and totally worth it.
I am on the phone for hours everyday talking to my team spread across the world and i bought this for my Nortel phone as i was tired of holding the phone to my ear. The headset is really good and honestly i am impressed of how good the clarity is on this – i can hear my team perfectly, better than when i hold the phone to my ear and even my team can hear me better. overall i am really happy with this product.the only issue i have is padding on the side (which does not have the earpiece) feels a bit less as i had to move it around – or may be it’s just me, as its the first time i have used a headset like this.

Works well with Polycom Soundpoint 430 SIP
I have an older Polycom IP phone (Soundpoint 430 SIP), which never worked with my old Plantronics headset. I’ve been suffering from neck and shoulder pain from cradling the handset so I decided I really really needed a headset. After reading a review from another Polycom user (different model) I decided to order. $12 is incredibly cheap for what this thing delivers. It came with an adaptor that plugs into the headset jack and has mute and volume and a switch to change something referred to as a circuit line (8 options – I just left it on the default). Plugged it in and made a couple test calls. Everyone so far reports no problems. Switched back and forth between handset and headset and my test calls sounded the same. So far very very pleased.
