I’m using this on the hutch portion of my desk to hang my work headset when I work from home. I’m very impressed with the quality of this, I wasn’t expecting such a heavy duty hook. I was even more impressed by the strength of the adhesive, as I’m only using the adhesive right now, and it holds both my work headset and my bose QC 35’s on them at the same time without any issues. Also I was pleasantly surprised to find that it came with an extra adhesive pad so if I move it I can re-attach it with adhesive.The only concern I have is that if I mounted this under my desk instead of under the hutch portion, I imagine I’d bump my knee into it all the time. But for my uses this is perfect!

Great Mount So Far, Good Luck Using the Screwholes Though
To keep it short, as with most accessories these days, there is a veritable SEA of off-brand accessories you could drown in while trying to make the best choice. I saw the good reviews on this one, and the price was right, so I reeled it in and don’t regret it as of yet.Made of a durable-seeming aluminum (I ordered the “gray” although it’s very much a brushed, shiny aluminum color in reality), the first thing I noticed was how much smaller the real estate on the hooks seemed than in the pictures. I’m using a PAWW brand “WaveSound” model noise-cancelling set and, while they do fit on the hook with some room…it’s not a ton of excess room.My plan for mounting this hook was to first, eyeball it a bit, then adhere it–relocate it if absolutely necessary, and then use the provided screws & screwholes to finalize it in place. Well… the first couple steps went fairly well. I got it more or less where I thought I needed it, and after struggling to remove the plastic side of the taped strip that was pre-stuck to the base (a little foreshadowing, I should’ve realized), I thought, “maybe I’ll just move this in a little more…” uhh, no. Whatever that red 3M tape was they used surely feels like I could stick the base of my TV to the ceiling with it–provided I was given enough, of course. Once that tape is stuck on, there is NO removing it, at least, not without tools.Moving right along, now a little defeated, I figured, I might as well drudge on and drill the base in place (not that it seems like I would ever worry about it coming undone at this point, but I figured, why not some added security), and that’s when I realized the inherent problem with a product that not only has a base that does not extend past the product over it, but also has a very short height between the base and those hooks. Unless you’re using a drill that is the sum total of the size of your fingertip, there is absolutely no way you’re going to be able to use the provided screwholes to screw this base in with perfectly perpendicular drill holes. I ended up having to go in at probably a 17-degree angle from each side in order to get this drilled in place. If you’re worried about hanging this mount in a place that the screws might be noticeable to others, I would look elsewhere, because it looks SLOPPY, and unless you have a professional-grade drill attachment, I don’t think there’s much that can be done to remedy this. Again, luckily, the entire purpose of this mounted hook accessory is that it’s to keep your wares out of sight–and generously, the screws provided are about as small as possible while still being able to get the job done.All-in-all, although I’ve had this headphone mount for less than a week, and the screwholes are not the best design, I don’t foresee any real problems and I’m glad I opted for this particular brand & model.

Good value for a sturdy product
First impression: It has some weight which makes it feel more solid and premium! Fit-and-finish is excellent, the aluminum has a nice powder-coated finish that is consistent and fine.Hold: I’ve had it hold my H6XX and AKG 7XX just fine for long periods of time.Size: It can accommodate the headphone band and the wire all on one arm. Just wish it was maybe a tad longer because if you have two headphones, depending on the driver sizes they may touch and awkwardly bump outward (AKG’s are round so that’s why).The 3M strip has been holding up very well the past several months even when my room reaches 90+ degrees F.

Bought this a while ago and put it on the underside of my desk and haven’t had a problem with it at all. Only thing is that my headphones are starting to tear where I place them in it but that’s to be expected after having these headphones for years lol. Stuck well and came with an extra sticky piece for if you want to take it off/move it.
