Accidentally double ordered, but I’m not mad about it
Prime day sale- I intended to get a single package of 2 notebooks/journals (whatever you want to call them) and they happened to be on sale so I got a really good deal. When they arrived I thought, “oh my goodness, these are SO much sturdier than I thought!” While I wasn’t wrong about that, the surprising heft of the box was due to the fact that I’d apparently ordered 2 of them because the app was struggling a little bit because the system was a little overloaded, or whatever is it that will make it act a little funky on prime day. Did that thing where you place an order and it doesn’t look like it goes through at all and you wait and still nothing changes so you think it definitely didn’t go through and turns out it did. My own technological difficulties aside, I got these because I wanted a notebook with decent lines paper that was perforated and would tear out cleanly for writing notes to the teacher on before school started after having learned last year (the hard way, of course) that I really SHOULD have something that doesn’t look like it was involved in an unlicensed cage fight with a grizzly bear by the time you tear it out of something and then have to rewrite it because of how many words went missing on that side of the page and wasn’t from a nearly 20 year old 5 star notebook from back when I was in college that still had some blank pages in the back that weren’t even really white anymore. I got this with the express intent of tearing pages out of something I could write on while standing up and not having to have it on a hard surface because it was floppy. This was everything I wanted and more. Mostly more because I accidentally ordered 2x more than I meant to. If I’d paid full price I think I’d be pretty upset, fortunately I didn’t and the notebook was nice enough I was okay with the idea of having some that maybe I didn’t have to tear apart.

Good basic notebooks but heavier than most.
These are great basic journals. I use them to take notes while meeting with clients. The pages tear out cleanly which helps when I scan my notes for the file.I could not give it 5 stars because the notebooks are heavy even for hardcover. I carry it around with me so it is bulky and heavier than other journals of the same size. On the other hand, they are much cheaper so there is that consideration.

Hardback for the price of Soft
I was really impressed with the quality of these books for the price I purchased them at. It’s like having your own hardback book that needs the pages filled. It’s bound nicely with ribbon bookmark attached. Each page is lined and the pen or markers don’t bleed through the page easily at all. If you like a nice hardback notebook, but don’t want to spend an outrageous amount of money then this is perfect.
