Good head seat made better with the gel pads
Good head seat made better with the gel pads. My ears don’t hurt after 45 minutes of wearing them like they did with the standard pads. Worth the money. One thing to be aware of is it takes time and patience to get them on the headset so take your time and go easy.

Necessary upgrade!
Amazing upgrade for this headset! Feels like a much more expensive headset after adding these – an absolute must for any pilot who owns these and hates his/her ears throbbing after every flight. Feels like near David Clark quality at a fraction of the price.

Watch a youtube video before you try to install
These were a great upgrade for my cheap aviation headset. Install isn’t bad like others have said, you just need to know how to do it. Start from the end and hold it in place firmly while you work around. If you leave these in the sun they will heat up fast so keep them in the shade or your flight bag. Makes for a much better seal and are more comfortable to wear than foam pads.

Frustrating beyond belief to mount
If you order these, make sure your install takes place with no wife or children in the immediate vicinity. The hell you will endure trying to get these to mount onto your headset will cause anger, violence, and eventually divorce.She got the money, the house, and even the dogs as a result of this purchase. I now live in the woods in a mud hut, and am forced to hunt and gather for my meals.

Awesome, but hard to install
These gel earseals are an ideal add on for the HS-1A headset. It makes the HS-1A just as comfortable as the higher cost competition, and is a 1000% (yes, one thousand percent!) improvement in comfort over the hard as a rock foam seals that come standard on the HS-1a.But the reason for not getting a 5 star review…. These things are a serious pain in the butt to get onto the headsets. There is a serious amount of stretching, pulling, and muscling that goes into getting these on the ear cups properly. I was at times afraid I was going to tear, rip, and destroy the thin piece of plastic?/rubber? that fits over the lip that hold the earseal onto the ear cups. But, I have to give them credit… they held up, didn’t break, and now are perfect on my HS-1As.
