Really cool chart of fish species
The only thing that could make it better would be to increase the size.Great illustrations and related information. The type of thing that would engage me for hours as a youngster, just soaking in all the details.Double sided and protected by a plastic coveringThere are a lot of fish in the water, and this is a great item to get to know them even if you don”t want to catch them!

Nice laminated ID sheet of fish in the north atlantic, gulf and carribean.
I just got my North Atlantic ocean, gulf and carribean salt water fish identification chart (number 5). I’ve seen charts like this in the stores but just never actually bought one, so I was glad to get my hands on it. One funny thing ists mahi-mahi has food quality level of “excellent” but it lists sea trout as “superb” and “flounder” and “redfish” as superb – so I guess that means they think those latter fish are better table fair than mahi? or is excellent better than supurb? but boy Mahi mahi is hard to beat in mildness and flavor – but anyway the chart is handy because it’s laminated to protect against salt spray, has pretty decent illustrations and the average weight of the identified fish. However, some similar charts have some tips on how to catch the ID’d fish as well; but in this case it’s more more of an identification, scientific name, average weight and then food quality level kind of thing. but overall it’s good. I would say there are around 50 fish on the front and the back identified so it should be handy to have if you catch something and you don’t know what it is or even have it on the boat since it’s laminated (or at the pier.) as mentioned, apparently this is chart number five, so it must be number five in a series of their charts. Please note: I received this item for free through the Amazon Vine program. This review, however, reflects my honest and unbiased personal experience with the product.
