Price, quality and ease of use
These little cameras are amazing. I was skeptical at first but I am definitely sold. The picture quality is amazing and they are reasonably priced and give you a sense of security when you can’t be there. They are very easy to set up and connect easily to your existing WiFi and the sound quality is awesome. I just rave to all of my friends about how great and affordable they are. Thanks so much

I have to say, this little camera works absolutely perfect. The set up was easy (takes a few steps) and I didn’t experience any difficulty with setting up an account, getting it activated and start up of the actual camera. The picture quality is amazing and it’s small enough to somewhat hide or kinda camouflage within a shelf of a few more things. It’s made pretty well and it does pick up any movements so the sensor works great too. So, so far so good. 🙏🏼

I really like these Blink Mini 2 cameras, I have 4 of them installed in my house and they are great for keeping an eye on things both when no one is at home and when I’m in a different room than my toddler and I need to see what he’s getting into for the times he gets suspiciously quiet. The Blink Mini 2 cameras open up quickly when I go to the live feed in the Blink app and have very clear picture and sound quality.The microphone feature is very helpful if I need to get my son’s attention or tell him something when I’m in a different room of the house. I like that there’s a light feature as well but I don’t use it, it could come in handy if I needed. The motion activation works well. I have one of these cameras mounted in my garage so I know if anyone is coming or going. It also doubles as a “did I remember to close the garage door” camera because my wife and I have left our house numerous times asking that very question. Now it’s just a matter of opening up the Blink app, checking the live feed from the garage camera, and confirming that the door is closed.Overall, I’m very happy with the Blink Mini 2 indoor cameras. They work well for giving me quick access to check different rooms in my house and offer a lot of features for cheap (especially if you pick these up during sales). The USB cord to power the cameras provides ample length to reach to a nearby power outlet but a simple USB extension cable can be added if needed. These cameras work great for my use and I highly recommend them!

Vast improvement over mini
For the sale price, this is a good indoor monitoring came although not for primary safety and security. The first mini was cheap, not reliable and terrible video. The mini 2 has better video, better extended viewing and better WiFi stability. Wait for the new 2k mini to be tested by those who want the newest of everything. The mini 2 still suffers from lagging and connection drops. I don’t recommend Blink as primary security cameras for those reasons. If you want to monitor pets or see if your children are safe(for a bit only) go for Blink. Get Ring cameras for your first line of security. I own 11 Blink devices and 23 Ring devices.

This camera is great. We bought it so we can keep an eye on the pup in the night or while away and it does a great job. I love that we can talk to the dog while out to calm her. we can see very clearly in the dark but I don’t like that you can’t move it around. I know there is another model out that allows for that but we went with this one because it had different things we liked about it.

Unreliable Connectivity
Purchased 2 Blink Mini cameras along with the Outdoor 4th Gen camera + Sync Module about a year and a half ago as of the date of this review. It’s great when it works correctly, but it is unreliable.Cons: Random cameras frequently lose connection for no apparent reason. One camera will go offline, while all the others are still working fine – sometimes its the living room camera, sometimes its the bedroom, sometimes its the outdoor camera…it doesn’t appear to be an issue with my wifi strength, because my sync module is next to my wifi router and even the camera closest to the sync module and wifi router will go offline while all the others are are operating fine. Other times, all cameras are showing as online, but I’ll notice that one random camera isn’t picking up on movement in the room because I’ve walked past the camera at least a dozen times in a day and never receive a ‘motion detected’ notification.Unplugging or resetting the cameras usually fixes the problem, but only for a short while. This issue occurs at least every 2-3 weeks or so.Pros: Setup is rather easy, subscription for cloud storage is affordable, and the app allows you to set a schedule to automatically turn system on and off at certain times of the day and on certain days of the week. Video quality is surprisingly clear in daytime and at night.
