Great Product
US COAST GUARD-APPROVED TYPE II PERSONAL FLOTATION DEVICE (PFD): This type 2 life jacket is designed to turn the wearer face-up in water. The life vest inflates automatically upon water immersion via a replaceable CO2 cylinder (includes 1 cylinder with purchase) or manually with a pull of the “jerk to inflate” cord or back-up oral inflation tube. Designed for commercial fisherman in mind this vest brings superior safety and performance to the recreational water enthusiast.
LIGHTWEIGHT, COOL AND COMFORTABLE: The life vest’s wide neck opening and ergonomic chassis shape hugs the body where needed to stay secure without riding up on your neck. The life preserver’s soft breathable collar prevents chafing, reduces moisture around the neck and dries quickly while 3D mesh through the shoulders, back, and waist conforms to the shape of the body and promotes air circulation.
SAFE AND SECURE: Bluestorm Gear’s quick burst zipper technology keeps the life jacket secure during heavy fishing, boating, sailing, angling or water activities, yet opens rapidly when inflated.
SIZING INFORMATION: Dual side adjusters ensure a universal and snug fit for most adults. Recommened for chest sizes between 30″ and 56″. The Arcus 40 will generally fit those who wear adult size small, medium, large, XL, or XXL.
2.5X HIGHER MINIMUM BUOYANCY: The Arcus 40 offers an outstanding 40 lbs of buoyancy, a 2.5x higher rating than Type 3 foam vest life jackets.

Great product saved my life
Was crossing a river for work and fell in. Right away it inflated and kept me afloat. It is light and very well made..

Comfortable to wear from the time I get into the boat until I get off of the lake. Well priced
I used to have the big bulky life jackets and would only wear them when I was running from fishing area to another spot because they were bulky and uncomfortable when trying to cast. I wear this life jacket from the time I get into the boat until I get off of the lake. It is very comfortable light weight, fits great and well worth the price. Luckily I haven’t fallen into the water yet to see how it works.

Very impressed with this PFD!
Very good quality and fit and finish! One problem I encountered was similar to one review I read here. Missing cylinder. Come to find out there is another pocket inside where the float bag is rolled up that is where the cylinder is stored, not the outside regular pocket. Seller was/is sending me a replacement cartridge just in case I didn’t find it. I may have notified them in time that I found it and was no longer needed. Excellent Customer Support as well. Got back to me right away (Monday anyway). Bought it for fishing at night from the boat.

Notice! They can’t accept returns
I bought this for my 83 y/o dad who is very picky. I live in another state and at first he called to say he didn’t like it. He said it was too heavy and he wanted to return it. (The specs say it’s only a few oz over a pound!) When I let him know we can’t return it he decided to keep it himself rather than give it away. Then he said it was missing parts but I’ve read some reviews saying they found them elsewhere in the vest. I’ll have to call dad and try to explain that to him now. Lord help me!! 🤣

Weak papework.
Purchase advertising says it is manual or automatic. In reality it is those and has a blow up tube and whistle. Packaging says that the CO2 canister is in the right sleeve. A bit deceiving as there is a zippered pocket there that has nothing in it. The canister is well up the sleeve closer to armpit level and you have to unzip to that location. Very high quality.
