The Bose A30 Aviation Headset is best utilized where noise is pervasive, comfort is required and communication is critical. The Bose A30 is Bose’s highest-performing, full-featured around-ear active noise cancelling aviation headset to date. With 20% less clamping force than the Bose A20 and redistributed weight for superior on-head stability, the comfort of the A30 rises to the top among over-the-ear form factors. The Bose A30 Aviation Headset with Bluetooth further improves upon the comfort and functionality of the Bose A20 with a new acoustic design and a fully digital active noise reduction (ANR) system. As the first-ever around-ear aviation headset with three modes of user selectable noise cancellation, the Bose A30 enables pilots to control the noise they hear in the cockpit. Plus, the Bose A30’s optional Bluetooth interface and tap control for talk-through communication offer versatility for pilots across all aircraft. This pilot headset also features a toolless, side swappable boom mic and down cable, and its improved carry case has internal zippered storage and padded sides for extra protection. Overall, the Bose A30 aviation headset for pilots offers the best combination of comfort, audio clarity and active noise cancellation of any around-ear headset on the market. Quiet the noise. Amplify the experience.
UNPARALLELED COMFORT: The Bose A30 is a full-sized circumaural aviation headset with a lightweight design and 20% lower clamping force than the A20 along with soft, comfortable ear seals.
PRECISION-FOCUSED NOISE CANCELLING MICROPHONE: The Bose A30’s microphone is engineered for aircraft with “hot mic” or PTT systems to increase clarity and reduce background noise during transmission.
FAA TSO and EASA E/TSO-C139a CERTIFIED: The Bose A30’s robust design has passed 145 tests by the Bose engineering and quality assurance team to ensure endurance in challenging flight environments.
THREE SELECTABLE MODES OF ACTIVE NOISE CANCELLATION: Industry-leading active noise reduction with adjustable modes accommodates different use cases or pilot personal preference.
ACTIVE EQUALIZATION: Incoming signals are shaped and equalized for unmatched audio clarity and intelligibility to this headset with mic.
REMOVABLE AND SIDE SWAPPABLE DOWN CABLE AND MIC: No tools required. Boom mic and cable can be mounted on either side of the headset without using any tools.
DURABLE, THIN AND FLEXIBLE CABLE: Light cable allows for increased freedom of movement and easy storage.

Excelente producto.

    Pricey but worth it
The best headset I have ever used. Really worth the money as it’s an investment. I wouldn’t recommend for a private pilot student since it is so pricey, but if you have your own plane or are flying for profit I’d say go for it!!

Product description indicated that the headset had bluetooth capability and it DOES NOT!!!! Even the Bose box shows a bluetooth logo. Do NOT buy from this vendor, totally wrong description and not the first time either .

Typical Bose quality along with the premium price
Replaced a set of Bose A20’s with these. They are probably a little quieter, a little more comfortable, and the sound is a little better. If I tried these when I still had my A20’s around, I would not have upgraded from the older set had my A20’s not been stolen. Not enough difference to justify the cost.

No Bluetooth function as in description!!
!!!DO NOT BUY!!! Product description and photos clearly showed these headphones come with Bluetooth function but when received no Bluetooth was there. Not even the button on the controller. Had to face a lot of trouble since I shipped it out of USA and if I had to return I had to pay a lot of money so ended up just keeping it. Amazon did not take any responsibility even with me being a Prime member for several years. Very disappointed!!! I recommend buying these from Marv Golden instead.

    Not worth the price
I recently purchased the Bose A30 aviation headset with high expectations, considering the reputation of the brand and the price tag. While the overall quality of the headset is undeniably good, there were a few issues that prevented me from fully enjoying my experience.First and foremost, the noise cancelling feature, which is often praised as one of the highlights of Bose headphones, unfortunately, proved to be a letdown in this particular model. Surprisingly, instead of providing a peaceful and immersive audio experience, the noise cancelling actually caused discomfort in my ears. I found that it exerted a noticeable pressure on my eardrums, resulting in an unpleasant sensation during long periods of use. This unexpected side effect was quite disappointing, as I had hoped for a more comfortable listening experience.Another problem I encountered was related to the fit of the headset. Despite the adjustable headband and earcup design, I struggled to achieve a proper seal. The lack of a secure seal meant that external noise was not effectively blocked out, diminishing the overall noise reduction capabilities of the headphones. This compromised the immersion and concentration that I had hoped to achieve, especially in noisy environments. While the audio quality itself was decent and the voice transmission was clear, the aforementioned issues with noise cancelling and fit greatly impacted my overall satisfaction. Considering the premium price of the Bose A30 aviation headset, I expected a flawless performance across the board. Regrettably, these issues prevented me from fully endorsing the headset’s value for money. That being said, it’s important to acknowledge the positive aspects of this product. The build quality is solid, and the materials used are durable. The headset is also lightweight, making it comfortable to wear for extended periods. The microphone performance is good, allowing clear communication with other pilots or air traffic controllers.Ultimately, while the Bose A30 aviation headset does possess commendable qualities, such as durability and clear voice transmission, the issues with uncomfortable noise cancelling and the inadequate seal significantly detract from the overall experience. Given the high price point, it’s hard to justify recommending this headset over other options that may provide similar or even superior performance without the drawbacks I encountered.

Had A20 for 5.5 years (just outside of warranty and no time to fix). It started to have issues with static and I needed a fast replacement.Purchased the non-bluetooth A30 with XLR connection. It is a good replacement… nothing mind blowing though. It is just a more refined A20. It feels/fits a bit better on the head. The A20 would hurt my head after 3-4 hours. This one does not (maybe less clamping force as advertised?).It should be cheaper for what it is, but that’s just aviation headsets.
