I keep bringing it out
After not playing this game for awhile I will start over, or pick quick combat or single missions. Realism settings on the plane are from arcade to fully realistic, blacking out when climbing too hard, and redding out when diving to fast. Set it realistic and be careful with the stick and avoid stalls while trying to get on the tail of your enemies. It’s great, I love it. It’s flight, not gimmicky crap like in games now-a-days.

Old, but fun!
Okay, okay, so CFS is showing its age. It still runs better than the rest of the series, which, even with high-end gaming PCs, tend to get “glitchy.” The large dogfights can be a blast. As arcade-like as it may be, CFS is still the best bargain flight sim on the market in this humble PC pilot’s opinion.

What I expected
The game is older but try and find a WW2 flying game now. I dont like flying the jets, prefer the prop warplanes of WW2. easier for an old man to do. Graphics are dated but I was expecting that.

THE BEST cfs ever
This is the first cfs I ever tried, and of all of’em I’ve tried since(and I’ve tried a bunch of’em), I gotta say it’s the best. Just the single player is awesome offering downloadable content like custom planes and all kinds of single missions. It works excellently with windows xp and a Logitech 3D Pro joystick.

I love the sound of the P-51 The problem I have …
I am a retired F4 Pilot and Airline Captain Retired. I flew 169 combat missions in North Vietnam and Laos. I have 15000 hours.I was a Instructor in the T-38,& F-4. I purchased the Combat Flight Simulator when it first came out in 1998. I flew the P-51 & the Spitfire for hours on my computer.I love the sound of the P-51The problem I have is I try to use Logitech Extreme 3D PRO and does not work with Combat Flight Simulator.any more.What can I do so I can fly the 51 again?Major Henry Fordham USAF Retired .I am now 88 years young and very active.

C’est peut etre moi le problème car j’ai combat flight sim 2 depuis 15 ans que j’avais acheté et il ne fonctionne plus depuis l’arrivé de windows10. Je suis revenu a Win.7 et il ne fonctionne pas plus . Merci a Microsoft $.Raymond le seul qui fonctionne sans problème est mon flight sim deluxe édition que j’ai depuis 8 ans.
