UPDATE: just buy the original lens protectors and this is the best 360 cam.This camera is wonderful and works beautifully. And if you are outside the USA, go for it because it’s great. HOWEVER, for anyone in the States thinking about it, DON’T! The lenses are very exposed and the protective guards aren’t a guarantee. And if you scratch the lenses, you won’t be able to get a replacement because DJI is banned starting from Dec 23rd. That’s why you can’t buy the warranty for these products. Now, for any other indestructible camera, Action 6 or Nano, go ahead: you’ll be able to replace the lenses. But no for this one.

360 video takes extra editing
Excellent camera, very happy with purchase. With The 360 there is a bit more editing involved before you have a flat ” normal” video for uploading. Fun to play with. Can also shoot with just one camera like any regular video feature, such as on a phone. Also takes photos.

Almost a great camera, SD card writing issues.
Overall better video and photos than insta360, especially night videos. But…. You have to register to use the camera, like there’s a set limit of uses of the camera before it locks you out and you HAVE to register the camera using your phone by which you have to give up all your data. The lenses are not user swappable, you have send it in. The app is great for viewing footage and pics, but don’t even try to edit on it. The app on the phone has only basic editing functions, i mean basic. Edit of pc, not happening, the pc version doesn’t have all the most useful functions that use tracking. Only useful if you have a mac pc. Battery life is so-so i wanna say it’s right on par with the rest. Now the reason i returned it: Has serious issues with writing to SD cards. I had two cards that literally were on the recommended list. It would stop recording randomly with the error “SD writing speed to slow” with both the Sandisk and the Samsung cards. So I bought one of the other ones on there, not cheap, a Kingston. It was fine for a day, then same problem. All of the cards are genuine OEM cards. Bought from a photography store, serial numbers checked out. We know the owner so we’ll that he exchanged for another one. Same issue after 3 days. After digging through the DJI sponsored youtubers and web searches, I found two youtubers and several reddit posts that had similar issues. Seems like you have keep playing SD card roulette until it accepts one. SD cards are expensive, specially the ones that it requires. Given this issue, I returned it, it’s simply an issue I can’t solve. If I had to say what it is, its the way the device saves to storage (external). Never had a issue with the internal storage, but given it’s only 100GB you’re limited on how much you can record. I really wanted to like the camera. Yet another thing that was pushed out before all the bugs were worked out. I can’t recommend it.

Kit came with all the essentials. But of a learning curve to export and edit 360 videos, but the quality from the camera is great.

Great little camera. Easy to use, easy to edit videos.
This camera is amazing and simple to use. I thought stitching 360 video would be rather difficult or time consuming. Not with the DJI 360 camera. Using an iPad you can get the DJI Mimo app and it makes editing 360 videos a breeze. When using a MacBook, download DJI Studio. Both make editing extremely simple. This is a great camera. The Christmas lights was the first ever 360 video we did. Hopefully our editing will get better. 🥹
