Great with Debian 12
Very simple to setup and have time-of-day, grid location, altitude, etc.Now if only I can figure out how to update WSJTX grid location when the grid changes…

Has hard time finding signal
Fast shipping got it holked to a raspberry pi, well for 2 days now i am trying to get the gos to find a signal and lock but no luck yet, been outside and everything it just does not want to connect to the satelilltes. Works well with both pc and raspberry only down side its not connecting to a signal.

Pretty bad packaging, works well even bent
So first off, even a small box would be nice. The 2 bags behind the dongle are what it was in(and the Amazon bag), so I’m not sure if damage was original or from shipping. A small box would help a ton.The 3rd picture was where I tested it. I have 4 computers there all have WiFi and Wireless Mice. If you have a ton of interference it will probably work 25% of the time, but a little extension and it works fine. With just the pi and not much else above the computer in my boat it works fine just plugged straight in.Pros – cheap, easy to use with OpenCPN on PiConsider – Terrible packaging, can get interference being no pigtail.I already bought another and it came in undamaged.

Disappointing.
Very disappointing. Ended up returning this item. Total waste of time.Simply didn’t work. I tried on Win10, and couldn’t get a position in Microsoft Maps nor Google Maps.Useless. Don’t waste your money.
