Amazing magnetic kneeboard!
I recently purchased a new iPad and case which led me to needing a new kneeboard/holder for the iPad. For reference I use the iPad Air 6th gen 11 inch with a zugu case. I wish I would have found this knee board for my prior iPad. This thing is so simple and sleek and works amazing. The magnets are strong enough to hold the iPad in turbulence and paired with the zugu case you do not need to mount a metal plate to the case or the iPad. I used the knee board less than 3 hours before my instrument Checkride. You can turn the iPad whichever direction best suits your needs and if you need to get the iPad out of the way quickly, it’s as easy as a quick tug and tuck it away. My designated pilot examiner was so impressed he said he was going to order one for use in the jets he flys. If you are a pilot of any type that uses an iPad, do yourself a favor and order a Dream Pilot kneeboard. I fly a Mooney M20F and have no issues with space using the 11 inch iPad with the Dream Pilot kneeboard! For fit, I often get called chicken legs or told I am too skinny. The elastic Velcro strap has no issues snugging up tight on my lower thigh just above my knee. You could also strap it up higher on your thigh and mount the bottom of the iPad to it. It is very versatile, user and pilot friendly. It also comes with a nice drawstring bag to store it while not in use. I’ll probably be buying a second one for passengers to use.

Ideal, quick on-off kneeboard for phones and tablets
This is exactly what I was looking for! A small, unobtrusive kneeboard (a small flat magnetic mount actually) that is small and easy to carry in my flight bag. With this mount, you can easily pop your phone or tablet on or off your knee in less than a second. Really handy if you want to take your phone off the mount and snap a quick photo. It’s also easy to switch between devices. You don’t have to adjust anything on the kneeboard to fit a different size device. Just plop it on and it sticks! The provided iron pieces will definitely provide a super-strong hold if placed inside your phone or tablet case as directed. I used a phone case with a MagSafe ring built in for my Samsung, and it makes for a very strong attachment. I tried an iPhone with the factory built-in MagSafe ring and it worked acceptably but perhaps not strong enough for aerobatics. For the iPhone I’d use the provided iron pieces inside a case.Another advantage of this system is that it provides good air ventilation around your device, important for cooling.The only negative I can think of is that the strap protrudes just slightly above the surface of the mount, causing a larger device to not be able to contact the surface directly. This might make for a less secure hold than if the back of the device could contact the mount surface directly.

Almost but not quite there
I use a power wheelchair, and really like the simplicity of this design. I recently took it on a plane and to a conference and the product worked very well. Given my limited mobility, it is great to have it on my leg instead of mounted to the chair, and when I needed to cross my legs I could just take my phone off. There are a few design decisions that would make this product even better. First off, there needs to be a tab that allows you to pull it off the Velcro easier. I have limited finger function and often struggle to get the strap detached. Second, it would be great to have a pouch or something that would allow me to carry a few credit cards, IDs, business cards etc. Since it’s already on my leg, it would be a very handy place to keep things like that. Beyond that it’s a solid product and I have really like using it.

Very secure, compact, and comfortable!
Works amazing with my iPad Air m2, I just added the included metal bits and it attaches very securely! It holds on great during maneuvers and doesn’t even come close to falling off! The strap is highly adjustable and durable, a little bit pricey but definitely worth it in the long run! I love how small it is, it fits right in my flight bag and takes up barely any room! Would highly recommend to all pilots

Perfect solution. Simple. I suggest a clear plastic case for iPad Pro 11 that I own. The case supports Apple Pencil too and is very low form factor. I attached the rectangular metal piece to this case. Works like a charm. No need for included metal pieces on my iPhone 16 as the built in MagSafe is supported (the very concise documentation mentions this). Excellent solution. Now to go fly! I masked my name and phone number from the image I included.

Very well made, it has the feel and the look of something worth the money. There’s nothing cheap or flimsy about it whatsoever.The phone I use with it is actually slightly difficult to get off of the knee-board and that is exactly how it should be so it doesn’t end up under rudder/accelerator/brake pedals.It does get a touch uncomfortable after 10 hours, but what the heck doesn’t?It’s worth every penny I paid for it and though I haven’t bought a knee-board other than this in a decade or so, I cannot imagine the cheaper options being anywhere near as good as this.BTW- i am a hyper-critical jerk who can find problems with the $20 bill I just found on the ground. I generally do not so strongly compliment, much less gush about, anything I purchase.It’s worth the money.

I couldn’t believe that the iPad would stand so firmly, but it really does. This is a really great product that I recommend to every pilot. If you have a case with a MagSafe, it’s ready to use and you don’t need to put any stickers on your iPad. I didn’t expect this product to be this great, but it exceeded my expectations.
