Customers say

Customers find these boots to be well-made and comfortable, with feet not hurting at all, and appreciate their great look and value for money. The fit receives mixed feedback – while some find them a perfect size, others note they run quite wide. Durability is also mixed, with some saying they hold up well while others find them not ruggedly made. The cushioning receives negative feedback, with customers noting the need for more padding, and customers disagree on whether they’re suitable for hiking.

Cool Boots, Awesome Service from Merchant.
I like everything about these Boots.Got them in Green, Size 12.Usually wear Size 11.5 or 12, mostly 12 and still room for thick socks. Fit well with thin socks also.Had them in for about a couple weeks now, beating them up, long days at work, outside and been Cold (14-35 Degrees Fahrenheit). They aren’t insulated and I’ve had on thinner socks, feet only get cold when I’m not moving. The don’t make feet sweat when extra active so they must breath well. Not made for cold temps but will work, not insulated. Only waterproof to about the bottom lace if you spray them maybe more?? No problems, not falling apart, feet don’t hurt, look good, zero complaints after 12-14 Days of 14-20hr Days and on my feet whole time. Company is very Helpful as well. Had an issue on website where I couldn’t pick Size and an Individual at Company went above and beyond to assist with the issue that wasn’t really his fault.I’d give the Boots and Vender Selling them more Stars if I could. Pretty much a Perfect 10. Highly Suggest. Enjoy.

As advertised, may run a little big.
Well constructed. I think they’re running a little big but I’m sometimes between sizes. Ordered 9’s but I have a lot of room. Other than that they’re as advertised. If I order a second pair. Might get 8’s.

    Lightweight and very comfortable
Like an improved version of the Palladium Pampa. They fit more comfortably in the toe box (slightly wider), are incredibly lightweight, and very flexible. Just got them in today so only tested in the house thus far but I plan to do yard work tomorrow and take them on a couple hikes to see how they hold up and will revisit the review. Cheers

    Simple and Practical
Mainly bought these because they are canvas, had a fair price and really like the color. I work in a State Forest and have worn them for about a month now. Feel pretty sturdy and are lightweight. Might not be everyone’s ideal “boot” but so far has worked out for me. I haven’t stood in really deep water but the sole seems to be water resistant so far with rain and walking through puddles. The inside of the shoe has a small peice of fabric to match the color but those just wore right out. Not a big deal for me. Would recommend for price, style and practicality. I wouldn’t necessarily wear these for a long strenuous hikes, I suppose you could because of the high top, but for my job they’re holding it down pretty well. Thanks Farm Blue!

Roomy toe box, poor quality control.
These. are a decent value, and quite comfortable. They are not hiking boots, but I do wear them around my property and they work well on varied terrain. not waterproof obviously.Update: 4 to 1 star. Significant defect after limited use. Stitching is coming apart on both boots. This isn’t because they are hard to put on, my 11s are actually a bit large so they slide right on. See photo. Also, they brag about having half sizes but the 10.5s, my preferred size, has been out of stock for years. Disappointing.

Good, but not a hiking shoe.
These are terrific, nice looking, and simple shoes. However, that is from a fashion standpoint. These are not hiking shoes. I am an avid hiker and I would only suggest wearing supportive insulated shoes. These are not that.I removed one star because of the lack of insulation and padding, even though they are very sturdy shoes. in order to wear these shoes longer than 2-3 miles, an additional insole would be required, which I will purchase. I am not wearing these shoes for hiking, but for flat-terrain walks in New York City.An additional star was removed because, even though they softened up as they broke in, they still have pressure points that irritate my feet. For example, there is an extra piece of material sewn onto the underside of the tongue that puts pressure on the top of my foot. I hope this softens up and I get used to it. it is not enough pain to avoid wearing, but I am conscious of it. (At first, the crease created on top of the toe box area with each step was pressing into the top of my toes, but subsided as they broke in.) These issues are not deal breakers, but should not be contended with when purchasing shoes at this price point. To reiterate, these are fantastic shoes for fashion purposes. They look great! They seem durable, but only time will tell. They broke in adequately after a 3 mile walk, but will require an insole for my feet… perhaps these are a little wide. Typically, I wear a size 11D and I am fine right out of the box., whereas these shoes are not. That being said, I like them, but not for hiking. Some people may find these shoes perfect for trekking, but maybe they are not aware of the comfort and support of great hiking shoes. I feel bad giving 3 stars because these shoes are well made and stylish, but they are marketing them as “hiking” shoes and I think this is not accurate. Given the conditions I have expressed, I would buy them again, and recommend them. I like and appreciate what the company is doing. I would love to see the company offer these shoes constructed of recycled materials.***Update***I have removed an insole from my Salomon Hiking Boots and placed them in these. The fit is more cushiony and comfortable. I will gladly wear them with the additional insole, but still, not for hiking.

    Very Comfortable Hiking Boots!
At first I’m a bit skeptical on buying this shoes since I have plantar fasciitis and gout and my feet is really sensitive to shoe comfort. To my surprise, this hiking boots is very comfortable! I wore it so many times indoor and mostly outdoors and still very comfortable. Some shoes that I bought were just comfortable after couple of times wearing but this stays consistently comfortable and the insole is thick enough to reinforce the comfort. The bonus to its durability is the style and also waterproof. Highly recommend and looking to see more colors and style.

Don’t expect optimum quality or performance.
I wear these boots on weekends when I cut my lawn and do other yardwork outside. I like that they are cool and lightweight and you can get them wet. But the boots are nothing more than glorified sneakers. I have used these boots for little more than a year and was disappointed to see the degradation in the sole material.

Pros-Actual canvas-Actual rubber outsole-Soft rubber outsole provides cushioning-Wide toe box-Actual pull tab. Not decorativeCons-Pull tab put on weakly. 1 ripped off already. Just stitched on outside, not a box and X stitch.-Insole is smaller than the actual internal shoe dimension. I guess it’ll flatten out over time?-Outsole slippery. Need to work in to gain traction.-Stupid label on shoe tongue. “Born in the U.S.A. Proven on battlefields of Europe 1916-1918”? After the pull tab ripping off, I hope not.-Shoe lace provided is too long.Notes to buyer: Not waterproof. Not really a con if you’re into your own water proofing. That being said, spray on waterproofing before wear. Canvas is not quick dry.Notes to seller: For your next batch, move the sizing tag to the tongue. The battlefield tag is cringe.EDIT: After wearing these for about a month, I have some feedback. Most noticeable is how uncomfortable the back of the boot is because the top of the heel cuts into my leg. This only occurred on one of the boots and that was the one without the broken pull tab. The remaining pull tab was half off so I removed it completely and it allowed the boot to more freely bend which reduced the pain. Looks like there is too much material there to allow comfortable bending. Next, I removed the the side badges because they all impeded folding of the high top which caused pain itself. The placement of the size sticker also ripped off over time. For the next batch, this is what needs to be done to make the boot more comfortable and probably lower the cost:1. Move the finger hoop higher and change stitch style. Or change from finger hoop to a slimmer pull tab. Or since stitching is inadequate, remove it altogether and rely on pulling the sides. Either way the current design prevents the heel from comfortably bending in.2. The back of the high top need to have more of outward lip. Currently it faces a bit inward and digs into the back of the leg. Ow.3. Remove the side logo circles. They do nothing but get in the way of the high top folding. You already have your logo on the tongue, inward sole and the heel of the sole. Save yourself some money and not copy other brands.4. Move the sizing sticker to the back of the tongue where it won’t get peeled off so easily. You can even print your silly motto on it and save yourself from purchasing a whole other set of stickers. So far the canvas has been great and the rubber sole useful.
