Great for PLA! DON’T USE WITH PETG
I love this smooth plate with one HUGE caveat. It sticks great to the print; it actually holds better than my textured plate. However: despite the advertising that it’s great for PETG, it’s definitely not. Don’t use with PETG unless you really have to because PETG will rip the PEI layer right off the plate.I’m still marking this as 5 stars because for PLA, it’s amazing, and apparently this is a universal issue with PETG and smooth PEI plates. It’s just one of those things that no one warns you about until it happens and you Google it and find out that experienced 3D printers already know about it.

Superior to the one that comes with the unit.
I wasn’t sure if how good this was going to be as the original one with my unit was the black one and it was just okay. I can easily say that this one is awesome. I’ve had it and printed about 500+ hours on it already and it’s been great. Superior adhesion and easy to wash. After all of this time the PEI finish is starting to come off, but when it starts becoming a problem I’m just going to order another one. It’s been super durable and I’m very happy I got this.

Just like original -but a better option exists
Getting the old pad off was more than just a little chore. After much scraping, peeling and cutting was able to get the old one off. While taking a break from this task I saw online people are using painters tape with excellent results.After putting the new pad on I covered it with a layer of blue painters tape. I have changed it once or twice but have not had problems with not sticking or sticking too much since.

This is my first smooth Printer plate and it works exceptionally well. Prints adhere to it correctly and do not break free from it.

Viele haben beim 3D-Druck Probleme mit der geringen Haftung.Bei dieser Grundplatte habe ich eher das Problem, PLA runter zu bekommen. Inzwischen besitze ich kleine Spachtel und einen Schaber der eigentlich für die Reinigung von Ceranfelder und Glasflächen gedacht ist, der hier sehr hilfreich ist und auch die kleisten Reste entfernen kann.Die raue Struktur bietet eine gute Haftung, überträgt aber auch Diese auf das Druckobjekt.Mich stört es nicht.Sinnvoll ist es für PLA und ABS getrennt Grundplatten zu verwenden, da ABS doch etwas Rückstände zurück lässt, die sich nicht vollständig zu entfernen lassen.

I purchased these replacement build stickers after i destroyed my last original one trying to do a print clean up with acetone. You get 5 replacement sheets in a pack, they are a bit of a pain to remove from the build plate, but if you peel slow and easy you will eventually get the original one off. Definitely hand to have some spares in case of future build issues. My only niggle is the cost – they are expansive for effectively stickers, but you are left with little choice if you have an Adventurer 3 printer.I hope that you found my review helpful
