Customers say

Customers find the kneeboard to be well-built, with secure Velcro that holds items firmly in place and doesn’t rip easily. They appreciate its functionality, particularly for helicopter flights, and consider it a handy device that’s comfortable to use. The size receives mixed feedback – while some find it sized just right for their publications, others say it’s too small.

    Great Lap Organizer and Kneeboard
This is the last kneeboard I think I’ll ever need. Finally. As a Private Pilot still working my way through IFR and hopefully other training I was searching for a good kneeboard to help organize my cockpit. I use the iPad Mini for my approach plates and weather, of course, but I prefer to write down ATC instructions and ATIS info on paper. I was also looking for multiple solutions for places to store a pen and a few custom checklists I created.I had tried storing the checklists in a pocket to the side and clipping the pen to the ASA Kneeboard I’ve been using since my PPL training. Unfortunately, neither solution was ideal. The pen, especially, would go missing whenever I really needed it. (I’m so bad with pens that I keep them squirreled around the cabin) I tried a visor organizer, but the visor in my 172 is anchored differently than a typical car visor. I tried a seat belt organizer with the same results.Thankfully, this kneeboard has it all. It has a nice clipboard, narrower but still sufficient to hold the Amazonbasics 8/5.5 note paper I use. It has several pen loops (YAY!) to hold my pens and styluses. And it has a wonderful series of binder loops, though it does not come with clips. (I already had some, so this wasn’t an issue.) I was able to cut down some page protectors to fit my small check lists so that when I need them I can view them but otherwise they hang to the left side of my leg, out of the way.The velcro is rock solid and has a great grip and the overall fit and finish is great. It’s really a fantastic kneeboard, despite the fact that it’s more than double the price of ASA’s products. (Having spent thirty dollars on all of those other unsatisfying pen and document storage items, I wish I’d found this first!)

    Not just for pilots!
This is a great kneeboard. As they say in many classes for first responders “if you didn’t write it down, it didn’t happen”. I bought this for a wilderness medical pack to keep soap notes on. The clipboard is not completely rigid and has some bend but not enough to be problematic.I love the pen holders for keeping items together while moving around. The little pouch even holds a pulse oximeter nicely.I would not wear this while on a hike but if someone gets injured you can put this on, keep your notes and pens handy, and still get up and move around your patient.

    Well made and designed
Very well made out of sturdy materials. At 6’2″ as passenger in a Cessna 150, room is precious. This worked well for keeping notes and reviewing maps while doing aerial telemetry searches. Adding 2 metal rings, and a zippered pouch designed for a similarly sized 3-ring binder worked well for keeping extra notes and pens and pencils. The wide leg band was comfortable and secure on my large leg. It would grip a smaller leg well too. The velcro flap pocket is handy for spare AA batteries for my handheld GPS. The long slash pocket on the right was handy for a quick reference printed map. The pen holder barely accomodated my large Sharpie pen (about 7/16″ / 1 cm diameter). The notepad clip’s raised center worked well as a place to clip my pen. The clip securely held my 5″ x 8″ notepad. The thick vinyl strap with velcro was nice to secure a folded note under my notepad. Two patches of scratchy hook closure (“Velcro” rough side) on the underside seem designed to keep it neatly folded when not being worn. Fine on my duck pants, but would be uncomfortable wearing shorts. A couple of pieces of loop velcro, or fabric that sticks to the hook patches would alleviate that discomfort. I don’t think the velcro deserves dinging a star. It is nice for storage.

    Good choice
Built very well. My only issue is the velcro on the inside seems to be without purpose and in a very unfortunate spot. Solid build quality though. Sits flat on top of the leg and comfortable.

    Very Sturdy and Reliable
Feels very strong and sturdy. I do like all of the extra pockets and pouches to hold little bits and pieces. It holds my iPad in very well, and it does not fall out easily. It feels very comfortable on my leg. It is pretty straight forward to use, and I have had zero issues with it so far, would recommend.

    Great kneeboard
Great product, this knee board is an upgrade over my previous one as it is flexible enough that I can position it so it doesn’t interfere with my Cherokee’s bowtie yoke. The pocket is a good place for keeping the key, the pen holder is a great location and doesn’t interfere with the controls yet is easy access . The strap is handy for keeping charts and checklists in place while walking around and probably the best discovery was that when paired with a pair of Duluth Firehose cargo pants the Velcro is in a perfect location so the Velcro on the back of the knee board sticks to the Velcro for the flap of the cargo pocket on the pants and you can walk around, fuel up, and probably do jumping jacks without the knee board falling down to your ankle.

    Well thought out design
Easy to use, everything needed is right there. Flat so it doesn’t get in the way of the yoke

It doesnt appear to be reversable and as the pens stick up difficult to use as a left hander in a cockpit the pens get in the way, average quality, overpriced for what it is. I would try another brand.

Hochpreisige Ware in einer absolut schlechten Verpackung erhalten. Hat den Anschein, als sei das Kniebrett bereits gebraucht.
