Well Constructed Earpiece. Sounds Great!
I’ve been a TV and Radio broadcast engineer most of my life. In TV audio, live on the set or live on location, we used the T*l*x brand of earpieces for IFB communication. Those are the industry standard, well-built and now cost about $120 complete.I initially ordered the Pdflie to try because it seems to be built very similarly in design. My main concern was about the impedence of the transducer. However, to my surprise, I assume it’s about 120 Ohms, because on a standard headphone amp, the earpiece delivers plenty of loudness with a better quality of sound than usual radio earpieces.The complete set with superior quality, 9+ foot cable, transducer, collar clip and coiled earpiece, with additional rubber earplug and a 1/4″ to 1/8″ adapter, is very suitable for broadcast use….at one-third the price.I bought another one, I like it so much.
