It is a functional yoke with one little flaw.
This is a replacement for a very old CH yoke system. I am using it with X-Plane, which recognized and allowed me to re-assign all its button and switches to what I needed. It has good re-centering when you let go of it. (main reason I traded up) However, the elevator axis is “sticky” and makes fine elevator control on landing a little tricky. I have tried to lube the column with silicone spray and that helps for a little while. If you are just flying for fun, this is a good yoke. However if you are trying for precision elevator control such as X-Plane can deliver, you may be disappointed. They really need something better for shaft bearings.

Barely works
This is the second time I have bought a yoke from Logitech, the first time I bought it there was a problem with the connection to the yoke and to the PC. It would connect for a minute then disconnect meaning you would have to disconnect and reconnect the cable every time. I cannot even begin to explain how many of my approaches have been ruined because of the disconnection. At first maybe I thought i just got unlucky with that one yoke so i returned it and bought a new one. This one connects fine but it will “spas out” mid landing for whatever reason which messes up approaches. I’m not sure why the quality control at Logitech is so poor but it’s really frustrating. They ship the products really dirty too I received mine COVERED in dust. I get it’s not the most expensive on the market but you think from a reputable brand such as Logitech you would receive a better quality product overall.

When I heard mfs2020 was coming out on xbox i rushed to get the equipment necessary to enjoy it the way it was meant to be enjoyed as it would be great practice for my multiengine checkrideIn my excitement i didn’t do my research and was unaware that this wasn’t compatible with the xbox version of the sim so i had to return it (along with everything else i purchased, not before testing them of course and sadly they were in fact not compatible.If you’re a serious about simming you probably wouldn’t own mfs2020 on xbox and you would most likely be looking at higher end yokes and throttles but if you’re on a budget as i am (flight hours are expensive) playing mfs2020 on your $300 series s is the next best thing.Guess I’ll wait for the turtle beach or the honeycomb yokes to come out.
