Thin synthetic shirt makes hot days more tolerable. Breathes & hangs nice; sizing runs small-ish.
BOTTOM LINE: Not too shabby synthetic material golf / polo shirt. Seems to run a little on the small side, compared to other brands I’ve tried. Material is very thin (you can practically see through it when you hold it up to your face), but that’s a good thing on hot days when you’re sweating your butt off.THOUGHTS: Replacing a lot of my older, ratty-looking casual dress shirts. Wanted some that are specifically suited for hot weather: either wicking material or just thin enough to breathe really well. This silky soft shirt from NIASHOT is of the later type. You can’t see through it when you’re wearing it but if you hold the shirt up to your face, you can see right through it – seriously. Still, when temps start to creep into the triple digits, I expect this shirt will become a favorite, due to that thin construction and synthetic material. It hangs nice but feels a tad undersized, compared to other similarly-styled shirts I’ve gotten recently. At 5’9″, 215lbs, it does fit about right, with the sleeve seems sitting right at the edge of my shoulders. It washes up nicely and the contrasting internal collar colors look good; no cotton means not having to monkey with ironing or other such foolishness. Not quite wash & wear, but it’s pretty close. Be aware that the nylon-ish feel & construction of the material might make it prone to snagging, so if that’s a concern for you then you may want to look elsewhere.I ordered a Deep Grey in XL but had to return it because they sent a LARGE. Not sure if that was the fault of NIASHOT or Amazon, but they made right by it – I had the correct replacement within 72hrs. That’s great service all the way around! If you’re right in between sizes, or just want to make sure it won’t ‘shrink’ on you after that 5th piece of pizza (LOL) then order up one size. Since it’s 100% synthetic, shrinkage should not be an issue.
