Outstanding Product and Customer Service
I rarely write reviews and when I do it is to caution others about an inferior product or customer service. Not so in this case. Open Wheeler is the type of company you wish all others could be. They offer a quality product with outstanding customer service.The product. The chair is made of solid, quality materials and when completed is very comfortable, stable and can be adjusted to a perfect fit. Putting the chair together was a breeze. The information manual was concise and easy to understand. All the parts were clearly labeled and they even provided color pictures for each stage of construction along with all the tools you need. (even a small portable socket wrench!) The chair comes equipped with wheels so it is very easy to move around or out of the way. You can tell Open Wheeler put a lot of thought into their design to make it versatile enough to cover a gambit of uses, from race to flight simulation to console gaming. They even have an option to extend the platform rearward for those who wish to recline the seat all the way. To say I am pleased with my chair is an understatement.Customer Service. When I ordered my chair, I did so with the express purpose of using it for flight simulation with the Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS controls. Out of ignorance, I ordered the wrong configuration. I called Open Wheeler USA, based in Florida, direct and was connected with Dimitar who goes by “D.” I explained to D that I ordered the wrong configuration, told him what I was looking for and he took it from there. He told me he would email me a return shipping label, apologized for not being able to refund my money until the parts were returned, took my order for the correct parts and sent it to me via 2 day shipping. I told him it was entirely my mistake and that I would pay for the return shipping. D told me he couldn’t let do that, stressing that the number one concern for Open Wheeler is that their customers are taken care of and are satisfied with their product. He went on to say that Open Wheeler takes a lot of pride in their product and strive to make it the best it can be.I’ve ordered another chair for my son that D customized to his specifications. One of the parts was not immediately available. D went out of his way to keep me updated on the progress of the shipment and made sure my card was not charged until the chair was shipped.Let me stress that I’ve received nothing from Open Wheeler or anyone for this review. It’s just that it’s been a long time since I’ve had such a great experience with a company who want to do things the right way.

Awesome product and customer service is second to none
Before I actually get into the review I need to speak to the customer service of HomeRacer. My personal rep, Dimitar at HomeRacer has been fantastic from start to finish. I contacted him with what I wanted to do with their OpenWheeler rig, what I was looking for and he guided me to exactly what I needed. HomeRacer’s OpenWheeler rig is rock solid and very well built but their customer service is even better. If you not sure what you need reach out to them and they will help you out.Without further delay let me get into the product. I already had a racing rig that I had purchased a few weeks previously and it fit the need for racing but I also needed a flight rig and OpenWheeler was the answer.First let me say the construction is of the quality that you would get if you spent about 5 times as much. Welds are perfect, everything is rigid and they send you not only ALL the tools you need to put it together they send hardware for every set up. The included instructions are very accurate, easy to understand and have tons of pictures to help guide you through the setup process. The items were packaged like it was going to battle and everything in the box was labeled making assembly that much easier. Shipping was lightning fast from order (after shipping hours) package went out next day and was on my doorstep the following day.In order to get exactly what I wanted I had to custom build (order) the parts I needed so this review will be under each item I ordered. If you reading this review I have ordered that part and highly recommend it.I can not stress this enough, if you need a racing, flight rig or a combination of both call or message them. You can thank me later!!!!

Works as expected
These are a must if you’re going to convert your Openwheeler into a flight sim rig. Very easy to install and sturdy. Only negative i found is the plates that come with it are a bit small so if you are going to be using a throttle and stick different than the Warthog you probably gonna need to mount a piece of plywood or a larger metal plate to the existing plates then mount the controls to it.

Great Customer Service!
Incredibly easy to install. Instruction manual included with plenty of photos showing all possible configurations. Once set up and tightened, there is absolutely no wiggle at all. I bought this and the lower stick mount at the same time – unfortunately I was shipped one set of flight stick plates; I needed two. I contacted the seller past 10PM on a Friday night, with full expectation of not even getting a reply until the earliest on Monday. They replied within 10 minutes! Less then 12 hours later, I received a notification that they were being shipped out. Fantastic customer service!

Perfectly built
Everything I’ve ordered from the folks at Home Racer has been fantastically built. The engineering quality is highly evident at every turn. This piece is no different and integrated perfectly with my Thrustmaster Warthog system. It is very adjustable, and you can set both your throttle and joystick at exactly the locations you want them. Highly recommend.
