A few quirks, but otherwise fantastic!
I ordered a size larger because flight jackets tend to be a bit on the small side, but it ended up a little too big. So I ordered the next size down. The fit of this jacket is bigger/puffier by design, so the larger one probably would have been fine.Note that part of the ‘style’ of flight jackets include a shorter overall length. It will sit higher on your waist than you are used to. This is normal, but you should be aware of it. A properly fitted flight jacket won’t go well with untucked shirts.Having the velcro included and attached was what sold me on this one, but I wish they’d have put the flag-sized rectangle on the right shoulder. Most military uniforms have their flag on the right, but it appears some flight suits and jackets have them on the left.It’s nice that they’ve included patches, but none of them are ones I would wear. It’s a personal preference of mine, but I don’t wish to wear any patch that is from a branch or unit I wasn’t actually a part of, including anything that says ‘flight crew.’ The flag is also a non-standard size and style, featuring a black border. But thanks to the power of “hook-and-loop,” you can slap on whatever patches you want!Pros:-Comes with velcro attached (Fuzzy side, which is standard)-Build quality appears to match the price. It doesn’t feel cheap at all.-Huge robust zippers-Very warm, but breathable enough to be comfortable-Shoulder pocket is a nice touch-Cut is authenticCons:-Shoulder pocket is just a tiny bit too small for a standard Field Notes or Rite in the Rain notepad. Considering that it has pen/pencil loops on the pocket, one would expect this to be a place for a notepad. If they just made this 1cm longer, it would be perfect!-Flag-sized velcro is on left shoulder instead of right. This may be some Airforce standard I’m not up to speed on, in which case, disregard.None of my complaints about this jacket are enough to knock off even a single star. Order a size larger if you are not a fan of the typical way a flight jacket wears. Expect it to feel bigger and puffier than it appears in the photos.

Outstanding flight jacket
I have had several flight jackets (from Alpha), and while they were OK, they were not the quality of this Rothco jacket. It is medium-weight but very warm, and if you need to layer something underneath, there is ample room. This is about as close to the real deal as you’re going to get. The size is right on. I’m 5′ 11″, 200 lbs, and it fits perfectly.

It is really warm in the cold weather, for such a lite jacket. The only thing disappointing is the waist band, it feels cheap. it’s not tight like you expect of a jacket of this type, it’s loose fitting. I wear XL and the size was correct. My old man pot belly makes it tight around there, but that’s on me not the coat. Did I say it was warm? I can’t believe how warm it keeps me in the cold, I wear this instead of my heavier jackets.

The jacket run short right at the waist line pretty much.
It does run short in length and it puffy. But I weigh 170 and am 5/11 fits perfect. The patches came packed with tight embroidery ready for hooking to jacket. I am rebuilding my flight jacket from my plane captain navy days. This is pretty close to the real deal. My wishes is for them to offer a fire retardant jackets that’s the only thing it’s missing very warm and fits well as I wear a med in most shirts and jackets . As you can see the Velcro makes it very universal for patches. I went with a nasa theme turned out great I’m sure people will ask me where I got the nasa jacket. The patches came packaged very well also extra button and snaps were included. If you like it baggy I would go 2 sizes up. Thank you.

Liked: looks to be a good quality – (does NOT look cheap). Also, price point is awesome – There are better flight jackets out there if you want to spend upwards of $200.Disliked: none yet. Let’s just see how long it lasts before it starts falling apart, lol.I bought it for my father-in-law who worked in USMC aviation for 20 years. He likes it and said the XL was perfect fit and he usually wears XL.Highly recommend! Now it’s time to buy patches!

170cm、85kgで胸板厚めでLサイズ。丁度良いです。中にロンT一枚と、パーカーを着込んでもキツすぎない。ベルクロもしっかりとついていて、好きなワッペン を貼れます。他社のMA-1に比べて値段も手頃で正に「買い」の一品だと思います。

・良かったところワッペンベースがあるため、好きなようにアレンジできる。中綿入りで温かい。・もう一息両胸のワッペンベースがもう少し外側に配置してほしい。ジッパーのスライダーがカチカチと音がなって気になる。まとめとして、コスパが良くて、実用性の高い製品です。私は176cm、座高90cm、68kg、胸囲98cm、腹囲70cm、尻90cm胴長体型なのですが、この製品のLサイズでは首と裾がガバガバで寒いので、少し工夫が必要です。裾はミシンで縫って処置しましたが、首はどうしようもありませんでした。ただ、肩周りも余裕があり、値段以上の製品なので、検討されている方は、体型が近い方の意見を参考にされると良いと思います。
