Great headset for the money!
Best headset for the money on the market in my opinion. Noise control, clarity, comfort, etc all similar to much higher end headsets. I fly out of a flight school FBO and have borrowed many high end headsets when I forgot mine and am always amazed at how good this headset is. You won’t mistake it for an active noise reduction headset but it does very well.

Great fit, but other features avaialble
Very good. Comfortable. Fits over my big ears. However, for about $50 less there are others available that fit as nice and have an audio jack for an external feed. Still like these a lot, just letting you others of other options. Keep on shopping.

Exactly what I needed
This headset performs just as advertised, and the audio clarity is even better than I expected.

Dont waste your money
Do not waste your money. There is a reason this head set is so cheap, because it is cheap. Poor quality!! Not being able to hear other traffic in the pattern or the controller is a life threatening situation. It happened to me, dont let it happen to you. Do not buy a sigtronics!!!!

Good quality for the money
I have a pair of these S-20’s in my open cockpit airplane, a Challenger II. They work great and are made in the USA. The S-20 and S-45 have the same mics and electronics. The S-45 just has an upgraded gel ear pad and head pad.

Great quality for your money!
I’ve been flying various aircraft, military & civilian for 40 years, and have taught communications courses. My Sigtronics S-20 has unquestionably been the best headset value for the money I’ve ever used. It’s a no-brainier to purchase it as a beginning headset to save money, or keep as a spare, or (if you’re blessed with good hearing as I’ve been) use the S-20 as your primary. The only improvement I’d recommend is buying an after-market gel ear cup for longer flights. After a few years you may also need to buy a replacement foam mic noise attenuators, but they are really inexpensive. Most problems attributed to headsets are in reality communications systems problems – trust me on this (with @ 20,000 hours wearing headsets I’ve troubleshot dozens of radios and headsets. 90% of the time it’s radios, antenna, aircraft relative location (operator to receiver) or operator error, not the headset, unless the headset’s been abused. Great value with this headset! ASA also sells a good entry level headset.
