This vest is GREAT! Fit is good, glad I went large just because cold mornings, its nice to have a sweatshirt on under the vest. Lower pocket fits my Pixel 7 cell phone perfectly (with hard case on it) Other pockets I can fit tackle and upper chest pocket is perfect for fishing license. Very happy with the quality. Fortunately I cant speak of the boyancee, as I have not had to get wet… yet.

There are better options, but there are much worse options.
It’s fine. It does what a life jacket should do and comes with the little whistle. The pockets aren’t big enough for much of anything, though. And there aren’t enough straps to hang tools on.My main issue is that it’s bulky. Which I knew. But just because it’s designed to be this way doesn’t mean it isn’t a flaw. You can spend more to get an automatic PFD with a much lower profile, which I did, but… you’re spending more.This is a fine entry level piece of gear. I’ll keep it as a spare or for a friend, but I really recommend that you drop at least $100 on an automatic. This thing will actually cook you in the summer if you wear it constantly.

Fits ok, seems well made, has a tendency to ride up while kayaking, I found myself adjusting a lot, got very hot and had to open it up to cool down. Serves it purpose at a low price point, but I will be looking for a better one in time that does not ride up and stays cooler.
