Very Good Briefcase
I bought this to use as my everyday briefcase. It meets my needs perfectly.I had a cheap briefcase made of thin material, but after a while I wanted something higher quality. The Travelpro is much sturdier and better made. Thick nylon, proper padding. The laptop sleeve is floating. I think it does a good job protecting my laptop, tablet, and other gear. I am an IT guy and will often bring desktop sized hard drives back and forth for backing up systems at work. The weight of 3 or 4 of these adds up fast, especially with all my other electronics. I feel no worry about the weight with the Travelpro briefcase. All the buckles and other hardware are metal, no plastic. When fully loaded the plastic clips for the shoulder strap on my old cheap briefcase would sag. Not so with the Travelpro. It stands upright when empty and when filled with stuff. It will continue to stand freely even when a pocket is fully open (though it will begin to fall over when multiple loaded pockets are fully unzipped). I really like the gussets(?) on the pockets, so you can open a pocket fully to see everything, but prevent the bag from flopping around.P.S.Anyone who is looking at this specifically as a travel bag should know that this is not really a bag for clothes. I can fit a medium sized travel cube of clothes in with all my other electronics, but that is probably all I would put in. When not expanded, the largest pocket is the document pocket in back. The expansion zipper expands the room in the main pocket. If this was a clothes bag, you would want the expansion to expand the document pocket to make one large space, rather than splitting the room. The current layout works for me, and is what I want, just wanted any potential buyers to know.

Excellent Airplane Briefcase
This is a great briefcase for jetsetters and business travel. It has replaced my TravelPro Crew3 backpack as my go-to airplane bag. It fits perfectly under an airplane seat and allows space for your feet (as opposed to a backpack). The organization inside is well thought out and convenient with many zippers/pockets. I also like the exterior attachment points for carabineers.I tried both this item and the TravelPro platinum elite briefcase, but kept the Altitude bag. Although The platinum elite bag is much more handsome, the zippers were less robust, the storage wasn’t as well thought out, and seemed smaller overall.I only have two real issues with this bag 1) the handle should have one of those ‘clip together’ options to keep the handles from flopping down. Many TravelPro bags have this and it feels like a miss here. 2) an exterior water bottle spot would make travel easier. There is room inside for a bottle but you run the risk of leaks.

Excellent work and travel bag
This replaced my regular laptop bag for work every day. Despite being larger and having way more room, it is lighter than my last bag. It fits my 16” MacBook Pro and 13” iPad Pro very well and keeps them safe door to door. The expanding portion will be a huge help in short business travel that I have planned soon. The number of organizational pockets and sleeves is outstanding! I really like the cell phone slot in the front – it makes it very handy in winter when pockets are covered up with winter wear.

Perfect Travelling Brief Bag
I ordered this for a big trip where I was flying to a different part of the country to look at houses. This is probably the nicest brief bag I have used. Yes, it costs a little more, but for the quality and the zipper quality, I think it is definitely worth the price.Everything fits great in this bag and it has a lot of pockets for things like an AirTag, RFID blocking pouch, etc. You can use it for so many things and it is very versatile.I highly recommend this bag and think it makes for a wonderful carry-on and travel brief.

Very high quality, versatile shoulder bag, but a few missing features
In my line of business, pre-COVID, seemingly everyone carried a Tumi shoulder bag. If I went to a meeting, there was a high level of risk that someone would have walked out with the wrong black ballistic Tumi bag. This Travelpro is a little bit of a throwback to that style of business bag. I really loved the utility of those bags, even if I didn’t love the feeling on my shoulder of one side having to bear all the load. All that aside — and while my daily driver remains a backpack — there are times I want something a bit more professional and so I needed to find an alternative. I could have gone back to Tumi, but decided I wanted something premium, but not quite to the price level of that brand, if I could avoid it. I’ve had really good success with Travelpro roller bags, so decided to give this one a try.Overall, it’s a really high quality bag that seems very well thought out. It is a similar ballistic nylon to what I’m used to in other competitors’ bags, but reminds me directly of what is used in the company’s roller bags.In terms of function, there are three main compartments, which can accommodate a variety of papers, folders, notebooks and computers and tablets. I didn’t see a super fleecy obvious laptop pocket, but there are a number of padded pockets that will do just fine for a combo of a laptop and an iPad for instance. Then there are other smaller pockets galore. Some are zippered, some open. Some places to put a pen (but not many — actually maybe fewer than I would prefer) and spots to keep chargers and cables organized. It’s not that it’s all obviously predetermined as to what goes where — but lots of choices to make work for you. There is also a little spot to put an AirTag (or equivalent). I’m totally fine that they didn’t build a tracker in, since that provides everyone the flexibility to choose their own. However, the text at the little pocket on a removable label is a little marketing over the topness — “This discreet pocket offers comfort, security and convenience, allowing seamless device insertion, safeguarding your tracker and keeping it out of sight.” Okay… Glad it’s comfortable for the tracker — that’s an important goal. But more seriously, I’d probably put my AirTag somewhere less obvious so a thief wouldn’t find it in a second. I guess for me, this pocket is a good decoy. But enough about that. What don’t I like? A few things:1. I cannot find a key lanyard or leash. That’s a bummer. I have stopped carrying my keys in my pocket and always have them in my backpack. Maybe I’m missing it, but I looked for an obvious spot to clip my keys and could not find one.2. No external water bottle pocket. Again, a bummer. My daily driver backpack doesn’t have one either and it totally is an annoyances.3. The shoulder strap, while decently padded, has no grippy material to help keep it in place on your shoulder. This will get annoying under load. You can always buy another strap, but that’s a miss.4. I wish the grab handles could be clipped together. My Tumi had a little wrap that could connect the two handles together and provide some extra padding when you were hand-carrying the bag. This is the most minor of my complaints though. So for all the thoughtfulness, there are just a few clear misses that resulted in my taking off a star — particularly since all are 100% addressable in design. I’ll still get good use out of this, but those will annoy me just enough to remind me about those misses.
