So far, so good
Bought this bag to hold my scuba gear (fins, wetsuit, BCD, etc) and it works great! The bottom section of the bag is perfect for holding my non-diving clothes. Plenty of space in both compartments. 127L capacity if you’re interested. Took it on a 4-week trip to Asia last month and everything was good. Bag weighed 45 lbs once I got my gear in it, so good for a coach checked bag. First class allowance is 70lbs per bag. Bag is big enough to hold 70lbs!Easy to roll, easy to check. I only wish there was a small handle or something on the bottom end to make a team lift easier (in and out of cars, etc). Durability seems good so far.

Terrible design, awkward to lug around
UPDATE:After 4 long-haul and 4 short flights, this suitcase is being given away the second I get home. The lack of straps holding everything in place makes it feel like I’m lugging a dead body around. It’s heavy, awkward, and entirely not worth the money. I’d rate this zero stars if I could.Original review:I’ve used Travelpro suitcases for years and generally love them. This duffle, however, has some issues.First, it scrapes very easily. I‘ve taken it on five flights (2 long, 3 short) and it’s already very scraped up along the bottom. I suspect it’s not going to last long.Second, the weight isn’t ideal. It’s fairly heavy (which I knew before I bought it) so once you start adding clothes and gear, it adds up very quickly. For a duffle this size, that’s an issue.Third, and most importantly, there are no interior or exterior straps for the main packing area. Even if you use the included packing cubes, your stuff shifts the moment you stand the duffle up. It makes the duffle awkward to roll because it’s lumpy and uneven. This is a big design flaw, especially since the bottom compartment does have straps.Overall, I wouldn’t buy this duffle again. The price was great but I wish I’d paid more and gotten one with a better design.

Bag packs alot in an organized manner
The bag packs a lot comfortably. My items do not move around during my travels. As woman you feel like you never have enough shoes. I place 5 pairs of shoes and still have room for a heavy sweatshirt and my health & beauty items. My clothes go into the main area. I have not used the side pockets in the main area, on the edge of bag and the top of the bag.I am dealing with back problems so lifting things properly is important right now.Con: There is not a handle at the bottom of the bag by the wheels. It helps to lift into the car.

NICE DESIGN BUT FABRIC IS ISSUE
I have had the duffel for nearly 4 years. We have used it on 4 cruises and trips to Hawaii & Yellowstone/Grand Teton NP. The design is fine. The duffel has good capacity, rolls smoothly, and balances easily on end when packed. Three external non-zipper pockets come in handy. Zippers are solid. The biggest issue is the endurance of the thin nylon fabric. It almost immediately showing scuff marks. By now, it has small wear-through spots and one outright rip from being loaded into a bus luggage level. Our old cordura duffel took this punishment and more without giving out (though the wheels did). I will not replace this item.(Side note, on the last trip, the airline somehow manages to bend the internal pipe which houses the extension handle, making it inoperable. Speechless)

Tough Stuff
I bought this to replace a Travel pro elite duffle. It’s holding up well . Somehow I missed the fact it doesn’t have inside pockets . I gifted it to my son leaving for college. He loves the ability to toss gear in and wheel out.

Good Quality
My wife needed a large suitcase for a long trip and I paid a bit more for better quality. Many of my past flight attendants used Travelpro so I trust the brand and this had done well for my wife.

Great bag
Strong, sturdy bag. Well worth the money. We use the bottom compartment for shoes and just love that feature.

This bag was ok. We bought two travelpro duffel bags before, which were much better. We felt this version. Was a little flimsy by comparison.
