These bags are great. They are the right size and hold up well for what I need them for. The seal does function well and it as the right thickness.

I didn’t think I’d ever be excited enough about food storage bags to write a review, but these Ziploc Quart Food Storage Bags with the stay-open, stand-up bottom are a total game changer. The difference between these and regular quart bags is night and day.The stand-up bottom actually stays open while you’re spooning in soups, dividing snacks, or portioning out ingredients, which means you’re not wrestling with a floppy bag in one hand and a ladle in the other. I’ve been using them for meal prep, marinating meats, freezing leftovers, even holding chopped veggies while I’m cooking. Because the bag stands up, you can line them all on the counter like mini containers, so it speeds up prep and cleanup.They’re also thicker and feel sturdier than the usual quart bags. The zip closes smoothly every time, and I haven’t had a single leak in the freezer yet. I also like that the clear design makes it easy to see what’s inside without opening it.If you’re tired of juggling regular storage bags or having them tip over and spill, these are worth every penny. Good Ol’ Ziploc Storage Bags – They Stand But They Always Did
I am taking a star off for the advertising. The “New Stand Up” advertising is hilarious. This annoyed me because of the pictures showing the corners sticking out and the implication that the bottom of the bag was actually flat. I didn’t want that. I wanted the bags I had been buying for years. But I couldn’t find the “old” style so I bought these. Turns out these are EXACTLY like the ones I have been buying for years. If you fiddle with the bottom corners, you can make them look like the picture and I suppose they will stand depending on what you are putting in them and how you are putting it in.So… quart size ziploc bags with the double-zipper. They are thicker than the “generic” brands I have tried with better designed zippers but I haven’t tried all the “generic” brands so I really don’t know. (If you want thicker bags, get the “freezer” not the “storage” bags.) I know these will last a couple hand washes to be reused so I think the value is good enough. I think these are one of those things that seem outrageously expensive (like tissues) but if you really think about it, they really aren’t that expensive.

None better
Ziploc really is the standard for quality with the storage bags. I haven’t really loved their containers that I’ve tried before, but NOTHING else beats their bags. I use them for short and long term storage, in the pantry, in the fridge, in the freezer, snacks in the locker at work, and shared cabinets for food and snacks and knick knacks of all variety including art supplies and random bits and pieces. They keep anything edible fresher for longer, and I have rarely seen a tear in one that I was storing something relatively pointy in, like pens, or pencils, or random paperclips and bits of leftover dried clay. The BEST for bags. 100% you will purchase them again.
